Hello Everyone.
I just wanted to let you know that we will not be able to go on the cruise.
Our daughter was at summer college at Cornell University this summer , our son told us he is getting married .....so....instead of going on a cruise is December 2008......our next Disney cruise to September 2009.
It was very nice talking to you. I wish you all a great cruise!!!!!

Maybe if each family had a Flat Mickey and it traveled through the families here the kids would learn about their friends and where they are from? What does everyone think?

OK, I'll be making a trip to the book store at lunch tomorrow to pick up a new family book. I think I get the whole "Flat Stanly" but I think I need the book to clarify. Regardless, anything that allows the kids a chance to be more familiar with each other I am in. I will help ease the..."NOW, how many days until we go on vaction". (Although it is usually me asking myself that question in the mirror).

I'M GLAD THAT'S OFF MY TO-DO LIST.
I've been saving for excursions and onboard spending, shopping so I feel pretty good there even though I still have more i need to save for the trip. Ughhh, time to think about Christmas also...CHA CHING!!
I hope everyone is having a great summer, enjoy the rest of it...schools just around the corner now.
BTW, I have 2 DD (8 and 9 @ time of cruise) Do you think any of your DD's be interested in being penpals? I'm sure it'll be exciting to make friends prior to sailing.

I paid off a while ago - was making small payments every month, then accidentally paid off the rest in one big swoop that was a more tightly budgeted month! We've been saving every month for the stateroom bill too.

We have the romance package, so we're booking Aug 23 at midnight - DH is counting the days just as much as I am so I'll stop asking him questions And that's next weekend!!

Working hardcore on my diet and exercise - this is a huge motivator now. Will be difficult with Food and Wine Festival coming up!

Really exciting!! I haven't done one of these before, and it sounds like so much fun! When is everyone arriving? I know we should be at the boat before noon, but I imagine everyone gets there at very different times....How does this work?
I am sure bubbasmom99 knows the ropes!!

I think we hope to be there early in the morning to get on ASAP. I know I want to walk around the ship and see it hopefully before it is full up with people. You guys will have to let us know how the DIS meets work on board. I know would be excited to participate.

We aren't castaway, obvious, so we have to wait until later to make our reservations. Hope I can get my beachside cabana massage! Also we are going to try to make a go at Palo as well. I'm also seeing that the airline may charge more for extra bags as well, may have to do some serious re thinking on what to bring. Any tips there would be helpful.

Oh, BTW, 116 days.

We're cc members. It's the 6th for us also. Although honestly the only thing we want excursion wise is parasailing. And Basil Fox....best advice I can give you....don't over pack!! I know easier said then done. But don't be like us the 1st time and have to ship things back or pay extra baggage fee's via airlines!!

Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. We are long time Disney World veterans who are first time cruisers. We just recently paid the cruise in full, and now the planning begins.

My name is Crystal (29), my DH, Jim (36) and DS (5) and DS (2). I am so excited and nervous at the same time...is anyone else afraid of sharks??? LOL We are from the Chicago burbs and driving to Florida. We are staying at Carribean Beach prior to the cruise for five nights. (this is a surprise to our sons) We were just changed to early dining for the cruise and are staying in a cat. 6 room. Our boys are really excited, and our 5 year old thinks we are moving onto the ship to live...he is really excited about the Pirate party!

Looking forward to talking to all of you soon and meeting you all on the cruise! Sail away!

Welcome Disney Boys!! I'm glad you can join us. Your DS (5) will probably meet my DD (6) in the club!

This is our first cruise also and we're up for some meets, etc.

Can anybody recommend shore excursions for first time cruiser family with kids?? I think we will definitely do the Stingray thing, my DD will love this.
