I don't know of any Darci, but I did want to say that your username sounds familiar.... were you on our 12/8/06 double dip cruise?

Guilty as charged!!! It was awesome!!! I am going through withdrawls. This will be the first December we haven't sailed on the Magic since December 2003. It won't be the same without the Reindeer bus at Castaway Cay! I am teaching a Disney scrapbooking class today and it is all photos from our trip last year. It isn't helping the withdrawl any!!!

Me too! We did December at WDW in 2004, 2005, and 2006, so we are going through withdrawal this year. We are headed down to Disneyland at the beginning of December for 5 days... and my DH is happy to actually decorate the house for Christmas this year since we'll be around... but still.....

Welcome to everyone who has joined us! Glad to have you ABOARD!

I am going to have to start putting together our website soon so we have a central place for all our info!

Bumping up to the top! I'm sure that we'll get some more people booking and joining us soon :) I wish it were next month instead of next year!!!

Hey all... we just rebooked for this date on-board the Magic last week.
It's generally a good time for us - so there's a good chance we'll make it... unless they do the Alaska itineraries for 2009 - then I've promised DH I'll move it and suck it up and have to *gasp* skip a year.

Should know sometime by the time the new dates are actually out - but for now I thought I'd drop in and see who the DISers are on this boat already.

We're a party of three - me, DH, and DD (will be 5 in January) and we've got our usual CAT7 on 5 AFT booked! :)

I'll try to read thru the thread tomorrow or so to see who's here and all.

Took me awhile to find this thread! It certainly deserves the bump!

Just a bump to get us back towards the top! Hope everyone's having a great holiday season. Almost to the 1 year countdown now!

We are getting so excited!
Can you add us to the list?
We have the early seating for dinner :)

All 5 of us are counting down the days! :goodvibes

Just think, in one year from today, we all will be on the ship in the middle of the ocean. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Happy Holidays fellow cruisers!

I can't believe that I can already start booking our pre-cruise DVC room next week! Yikes!!!

:wave2: Hi All - just joining up. I just read the whole thread and it sounds like lots of fun! Hehehe, and I thought I was early booking our cruise last week - but you guys beat me by far.

OK some info about us. This cruise will be our Honeymoon :goodvibes:cloud9: So it will just be me (:bride:Christine) and my future hubby (:groom:Erik)! Obviously we're both very excited and can't wait.

It's my second cruise I did a 4 day Carnival to the Bahamas with my parents in high school and it's Erik's first cruise ever. But I'm as excited as if it were my first time since it's my first DISNEY cruise :goodvibes!

We did late dining - since we didn't want to have to rush if we decide to do any excursions.

OK I'll answer some more of the questions in a second post since I know the original idea was a post per question.

Nice to meet you all!

Here's installment two of the 20 questions - but I've thrown in a question of my own as well if you'd all be so kind as to help.

We don't have our cabin number yet :confused3 and I've got to say seeing all yours I'm a bit freaked out by that. We booked through Small World Vacations who said that we probably wouldn't get our exact room number till we reach the 75 day out mark! :sad2::scared: We reserved a category 6 or better, which relieves some of my tension but it just seems weird that we didn't get our room number. I thought it odd when we booked (I seem to remember knowing advance before) but I am even more concerned since it seems like we are the only ones this has happened to. Erik thinks it's because of going through the travel agent and not directly through Disney. I'm hoping he's right because I also requested to be as close to midship as possible since I had some trouble with the motion on my first cruise! Either way I'm stocking up on some of those bracelets to help with seasickness as I know of family members who had success with them.

Of course I'm sure you all understand why I'm hoping that it all goes smoothly as possible what with it being our honeymoon!:cloud9: So my question for you all is have you heard of any policies like this - where you don't get the cabin number till 75 days out? And/or do you know if it's because of going through a travel agent?

Thanks in advance!
