I talked to him a little bit ago and they gave him a couple of units of blood and some dilautin for the pain. So, he is feeling a little better.

He told me that I could come see him tomorrow if I brought him some jelly beans or star burst.
It still takes too much out of him to sit up in bed.

And the reason I called him............

My oldest dd and SIL are having a baby!!!

Jon cried just like I knew he would!!! We are all thrilled! Except........the baby is due the week of Aug 15th.......

Don't tell dd but, Jon thinks we should still plan on going to WDW and just hope the baby comes early!

"DCL contacted us. They were following up on your request to have your current 12/05/09 resservation converted to a 2010 sale date when you initially booked with them. Please let us know what you are planning to do. We'll be happy to make whatever change you'd be interested in."

Now,since I have no idea what the '10 itinereries look like yet, I'm not sure what to do.

Now,since I have no idea what the '10 itinereries look like yet, I'm not sure what to do.

I got a phone call yesterday regarding that. I guess they want to get us out of the 12/5 so they can really book it.

I am going to visit Greg today -- he's hoping that he is out on Monday. I told him that I think you have to be able to sit up and even be able to get out of bed to actually leave the hospital.
My dad sent a Priest to visit him yesterday -- my dad would just cry if he visited someone in the hospital. So, he sent another*Father* in his place.

I'm not with a TA, I got the same call direct from Disney....

makes me wonder, are they suddenly realizing how many 12/5/09 people will be moving and they will have an empty tier 3 ship? Or trying to drum up business for the '10 itineraries?

My brother is back in the hospital...... I went to pick him up (to bring him to my house for the weekend) and we went by the Dr's office to get the nupergin (sp?) shot.
When they did his blood work his white cell blood count was......nothing..... And while we were there his temp shot up to 101.4......
It tooks us hours to finally get a bed -- there was a bed available at JPS (the public hospital....) we turned it down.
I told him it wouldn't be as bad as last time (23yrs ago) when they almost killed him. The grandfather of Claire's (7dd) best friend is a Dept head there...... So, maybe we could get better treatment then last time -- 23yrs ago they almost killed my brother.
He was even given last rights because they didn't think he would live through the morning..... It was because of what happened there back then that he has many of his health issues now.
And 23yrs ago he just had a food born bacterial infection that should have been cleared up within a week of IV antibiotics......

They are doing more blood work, cultures , etc... they think he has an infection somewhere.
My brother is very discouraged. He feels like he was finally making headway and the end was in sight.....and now this.

I spent 5 hrs mostly just sitting there holding his hand. Because sometimes you just need your big sister to hold your hand.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

They have you as a trouble maker anyway!!! DCL called to see if you would like to be booked on a different cruise line.

Darren had a zero white count back in 1986 and he pulled through. (And they wound up not using the crash cart they kept outside his hospital room.)
I'm praying that your brother pulls through this too
