We were a group of 11. We drove from Ohio in 2 vans and rented a house about 10 minutes from Disney in Orange Tree. We had the absolute most amazing time ever. That's all I can say. Amazing.
Got to the house on Sat. Settled in and started at MK Sun at 8 am. Were the only ones in Tomorrowland (there was a Main Street military parade) & walked on Space Mt & Buzz & met Stitch & the Incredibles. We then rode with Goofy in Toontown and then made our way around the park. Magical, magical day.
Epcot was great. Illuminations had a bonus at the end which was breathtaking. The new rides, Soarin & Mission:Space were lovely. Soarin is the only ride I've been on where the audience applauded at the end every time. Just wonderful.
Food: We ate at the Noodle place in Tomorrowland which was nice, Marrakesh which felt just like you were in another country, the Japanese Terryaki counter service, the Mexican counter service, Puck's express (downtown disney.) All of it was great.
The only negative, & I do mean the ONLY one, was we tried to take buses one day & it was slow & tedious. I cannot emphasize enough, drive if at all possible. Way faster. Especially when the parks are empty. When we would switch parks midday, we often didn't even need the trams we were that close.
Other than that, AWESOME!!! Yeah Disney World. You truly are the happiest place on earth.
