I know I have asked this before under different scenarios - but now I know for sure I have a 12:25 flight home. I am staying at the Poly and would like to have breakfast at Kona Cafe before we leave. Would 8am work? No characters, not super popular - an hour should be plenty of time, right? I can drop off my luggage before breakfast too and give myself one less thing to deal with. Will be renting a car on airport property and driving back so the "Magical Depress" (lol I can't remember who said that but so true!) schedule does not matter.

Thanks for the help. I feel like kind of an idiot ;)

I would want to be dropping the car off at MCO by about 10:15 latest. MCO security is not super efficient.

I think an 8AM would work.

I know that is a nice way to say it is a nightmare ;) I was considering doing ohana but have moved that earlier in the trip to a less rushed time. I am guessing that breakfast at Kona should be able to be had at under an hour and I seem to remember people saying for a 12:25 they'd want to be leaving the resort by 9. We'd start heading over around 7:30, check in luggage and check in a few minutes early for breakfast hopefully. I want to try the pulled pork benedict thing ;)

DIS rules do not allow me to properly describe MCO security. They dislike the language required. :jumping1:

Careful....I got 30 points (never knew there was a points system here) a week or two ago for "getting creative in an attempt to bypass the profanity filters".

Yup.
i'm going to assume that "points" are not a good thing... :)

we had a 12:30 flight and had character breakfast at 7:30. We packed up the night before (meaning almost ready to walk out the door), checked our bags fot the flight by 7:15 and headed to breakfast. We were actually done by 8:30 (not rushed) and had an hour to lay at the beach before DME picked us up (which you don't even have to worry about in your case!!). As long as you plan ahead, I think you will be fine! Have fun!!
