12/24/08 Christmas Cruise on the Wonder

In other news, our cruise is now sold down to a handfull of Cats. 9,10,11 and slightly more than a handfull of Cat 5. Guess all those government tax rebate checks got put to good use last week after all. The New Year's cruise is sold out except for Cat 10.

LOVED the quick change. I could hear you frustrated and screaming in the first one about the cannons. In the second, I heard you like a newscaster with a calm voice..."In other news...."

Sorry to hear about all the racket. Hope the baby got some sleep. DD could have slept through all of it when she was of that age. She slept through trains going right behind the house!!!

Coming out of Six Flags and happened to mention taking the insurance money (from me killing my husband - which is a JOKE - for making us walk to the parking spot where we were supposed to meet only to find out he was back at the entrance and we had to walk back!) paying off debts and then taking a really nice vacation for a LONG time. DD said just as long as it wasn't the Bahamas because she would turn into a lobster!! DH and I spent a lot of time telling her about how the sun isn't too much different and trying to convince her it will be fine. Remember, we are keeping this a secret......

Me too. Don't know about the fair haired part though. I always pictured myself with an Italian or Spanish speaking tan skinned, dark haired, with light blue green striking hazel eyes and a nice chest cabana boy that keeps both of my hands full with tasty frozen beverages. Oh my dreams tonight will be good....

Where can I get the manual? I wasn't supplied one.....

Right! I told her that it is important to wash the saltwater off with regular water at those little showers they normally have on the beach since the salt crystals act as little magnifiers to magnify the sun's rays which increases likelihood of sunburns. And to do that at all beaches.....

sheeesh, When you get to be my age it's hard to tell which is going faster, my eyesight or my mind If I get inked, it will be with the henna. I'm too big a chicken to get a real one

None of mine or DH's are Disney related either. No cartoon characters either. Bull skull, tribal design, Kanji character, zodiac sign, dragon, cobra, two dragon yin-yang sign, another dragon.....that's about it.

Your plan for #6 sounds awesome! Very creative. I want to have another baby and do that too!!! Don't tell DH

Awww, That's such a sweet idea Andy. People are always putting their childrens names in tatts,but I have never seen a little hand print. That will be so special. You will have to share a picture once you get it done.

DH has the three oldest kids names on his left arm. He did them himself with india ink and a big needle Thankfully, he outgrew this phase. Now he wants to have the twins professionally done on his right shoulder or arm.

I know that this will shock you all, but I have no tattoos... and plan to get no tattoos. (I'll pause so that there can be a gasp of surprise!) Why, you ask??? Because I am as cute as I am ever going to get. Sadly, it is all down hill from here and as what was once perkily pointed forward now gazes shamefully at my ankles. We are all going to be 80 someday... or 70 or 60. Some of us will have drooping skulls, warrior armbands that have slipped down to our elbows and happy little butterflies that can no longer take flight. Some of us will not. I intend to be in the latter category. But hats off to those of you that will. You are more bold than this kid.
