A fast report on the travel to/from Jersey Shore.
We left from the Jersey Shore about 11am on 12/23 arrived about 2pm on 12/24. We stopped overnight near Savannah GA for a fast 5 hours sleep. Hmm that math does not add up, well south of DC we hit 3 hours of horrific traffic due to volume and not during rush hour!!! During our stay we found many other folks also caught in that bit of fun.
1/2: We left the World about 4pm arrived home (today) by 12pm on 1/3. This was without any hotel just driving and stops for gas and mother nature. GA was the culprit this time with almost 3hrs of traffic all due to high volume.
So if/when we visit during the holidays guess it's best to shift the stay around these data.
