P.S. I was just looking at some of the upcoming cruise meet threads and there is a cruise happening in November 2005 and they have 24 posts...our cruise isn't until Dec 2006 and we have 1700!!!!!

well its a beautiful day here. The lions were awesome! You can get literally inches from them when they are up at the glass. It is so cool to see these big cats so close up. What sexy animals. (If an animal can be called sexy).
Anyone who ever comes to San Diego do not miss the zoo and wild animal park. Too awesome.

ok more screams from downstairs, better go pull Kira from where ever it is Sierra has put her now.

No...I'm just saying that there are more Dis'ers on our cruise than theirs (and I think we'll have WAY more fun). I like chatty...that's the one thing my Mom & Dad always knew that my teachers would say about me on parent-teacher interviews...Elaine talks to much with her neighbours!!!

I loved our digital camera scavenger hunt...it was so much fun!!!!!!!! Our prizes were Disney Pez Dispensers.

My goal this cruise is to actually go in one of the pools!!!!! I have now been on Disney's ships for a total of 18 days and have yet to be in the water of a pool!!!!!!!!!!!

I did however see the inside of the gym this cruise (a couple of times). Hired a personal trainer for 2 sessions (sure hope Luke is still on the Magic when we cruise!!!!) and also had the metabolism test. Might re-do that one to see if I improved.

hi, we are new to these boards, as well as dvc membership. We are going on the west coast cruise next week. While on the cruise, we would like to book on the dec. 06 10 day cruise. But, we also would like to try and use our dvc points, since we have it. But, will there be rooms available in Jan. 06. (thats when the cruise will be open to dvc members..) any ideas......?

Just came back from picking up DH at the airport. I'm so glad his business is picking up. Now its time for dinner. Red snapper, zucchini casserole and watermelon for dessert. m m m.

Stacey will probably have some input for you on that. Enjoy the West Coast Cruise and we hope you can get onto the 10 day Christmas. You shouldn't have any trouble. My husband booked ours 4 months before sailing. Good luck

But, we also would like to try and use our dvc points, since we have it. But, will there be rooms available in Jan. 06. (thats when the cruise will be open to dvc members..) any ideas......?

You lost me there. I know that we booked onboard. What we really want is a room on the Magc for any summer 2007 sailing, but since those dates aren't open yet, we booked for Nov '06....and will move the booking when '07 opens.
Danielle (the onboard booking agent) will work with you....she's teriffic!

He's a good trainer...and not bad on the eyes either!!!!! I'll admit...I had to get him to re-show me how to do things because at times I was distracted!!!!!!!

Horses are fun. Just ask gregg and garry, oh and ME! lol. sorry. horses are my life, i hate to see people get hurt around them, but they aren't bad creatures. They are just unaware of how powerful they can be, especially young ones or ones that never have the same rider twice. I feel bad for those types of horses (excluding my own [nasty devil]). Anyway, on to more fun stuff, I will be able to join you grown-ups in the spa next time. Tis right, i will be 18. hard to think that far ahead. wow. no longer a minor. dang. hehe. Hey welcome Calif. Good morning everyone. Have a great day. We are off again to the Wild Animal Park for a morning stroll and so daddy can see the lions and carousel. hmmm wonder who thought that up?Could she be 5?

Hey Lynda I'll have to see what the girls are like a little closer to the sail date. Might be there with you, but the west coast time and late seating really helped us out. Hopefully they'll be more into sleeping in. At least Kira will be old enough to go to the clubhouse.
Anyways we took you guys advice and this trip "have veranda will travel" is our motto.

Yeah, that's the problem with using DVC points to book DCL. Aside from the fact that it isn't as cost effective, you've gotta wait for that booking window to open up. For most normal cruises, that probably wouldn't be a big deal. However, the holiday cruise will most likely be sold out by the time we hit January. Not to mention the fact that a cruise of this value will be an extreme number of points. Christmas time is always the most expensive. I'd book onboard next week with cash. Then you can always see in January if anything is available and the points work out for you. Then just cancel your onboard reservation.

There is a vast difference between 13/14 and 17/18 or 19 especially when it comes to jumping into a thread advising parents about the safety of their 10-year-old children and not informing the readers of the thread of the relative immaturity of the source of that advice. Like ...I am only a 14-year old but it has been my experience....bla, bla, bla..., which would have been much more helpful and, possibly of greater value...
