I've always said it didn't feel like Christmas in Arizona (after growing up in cold country) ..... so why not cruise at Christmastime?? If it's going to be a warm holiday, it really should be on a beach.

Hey Jen we live about an hour from Disneyland but then again that all depends on the traffic. I have family in Anaheim too.

The guests are gone the guests are gone .Big sigh big smile :thewave: They just up and bailed to Arizona. Dropped the job and everything. Ahhh our house is ours again.

Yeah Sue these kids are home schooled too, so it isn't a problem there until they run into their aunt who majored in anthropology.(oops thats an argument waiting to explode)

We have started the ABS diet. Anyone tried it yet? I'll keep you all posted. It looks pretty easy...we'll see.Still wanting this 25 pounds of baby fat to go away. I've started riding my bike with the girls in the trailer. Extra 90 pounds of drag should do something besides kill me right?

Oh well off to start the day. Planting my seedings in the ground today. Just have to figure out how to get the varmints from eating them before I can.

Hey jEn that would be fun. I'm looking forward to this summer when some people we met at Christmas are going to be here for a cruise and are extending their stay to see Disneyland. I do have to think that anyone who comes here from WDW would be disappointed but it is where it all began and hey in the heart of So. Cal. The Grand Californian is my pick for hotels at the park. The lobby is to die for.

the lobby to the grand californian hotel is amazing. I have been inside of it. I do think WDW is better than DL, but like you said, it's where it all began.

See I've never been to WDW so I can't compare but I know that sucker is BIG. DL is an "intimate" size park. My parents went the year it opened and have some really funny pictures to look at. The rollercoaster at California Adventure is alot of fun have you been on it jEn? and how about the merry go round next to it? Its my favorite.

My heart still belongs to Disneyland. I know WDW is much bigger...but it isn't the same. I love walking down Main Street, knowing that Walt had walked there, too. And then there's "Small World"....and Indiana Jones, and the Matterhorn.........and having the dessert buffet on Walt's balcony while watching Fantasmic!.........

And I LOVE California Adventure. The music they play just gets me in a very happy place. We've stayed in several different types of rooms at the Grand Californian.....I love that hotel, too.

I'm ready for a trip now.....I think I just talked myself into it!!

yes i have been on the rollercoaster. I love it. my favorite ride in California Adventure is soaring over california. I love that ride. My favorite ride at DL is and will always be Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Star Tours. Three awesome rides. Space mountain is awesome too. I think out of the four, POTC is still the best, but it's so hard to choose. I still love WDW more, because i have fond memories of my dad there.

yes my mom is a good cook. Yeah my mom has the weekend off. She doesn't work on the weekends. Unfortunetly, that is my step-dad's moving weekend. He is moving all of his stuff into our house, so they won't be around much. Are you driving or flying here gaRry? I guess you are probably driving. Just PM me and i will give you dirrections and some hotel numbers to call.

Hi Sue....I was going to send you a PM...but I may as well just say it......all the men out there CLOSE YOUR EYES......."GIRL TALK"...........I'm going in this morning for a mammogram and an ultrsound. I usually go in September, but we are on a "search" mission. I have some pain and a lump. I've had two tumors removed, so I'm hoping that maybe this is just scar tissue.

I'm home.....and all is well. I'm pretty irritated with the doctors, but all is well.
What I was feeling is the 2nd tumor that I had. I thought that they had removed it...... oh no....they only did a biopsy on that one....they had removed the first one. Since I was just recently placed on HRT, they think that's why this one has become irritated. For the last two years, they have said "Oh, your mammogram is clear".....well, to me, that means CLEAR. That doesn't mean...the same tumor is still there, but otherwise, it's clear.
Oh well, I know I'm stupid for not knowing/remembering that they didn't fully remove the thing.....
Thanks guys......I feel very grateful nonetheless, and I'm positive that prayer and Pixie Dust helps!!

Glad to hear the good news Stacey.

Stormy day today. Lots of wind and some rain. I'm a little worried about Paul riding home on his new baby today. I keep hoping he'll call to have me pick him up. Any ways back to the rain...do not buy a house in California thats at the bottom of a slope. Oh my the houses that are trashed from the hills running into them.I guess the rain isn't so nice for those folks.

Hersey, Penn, I drove through there once on my cross country solo trip. I don't remember smelling chocolate as much as when I drove past the See's candy factory in L.A. Does it smell good around there ?

We have two new baby rhinos at the Wild Animal Park and am looking forward to going out to see them. We have ours passes to the zoolological society and go as often as possible.

Sierra and I went to see Robots today. I know its not Disney but it was good.

Hey Bubbles- batten down those hatches I see a big ol storm comin your way. Spring will be here soon.
