As crazed as I was, greG-ster....I think the big cat would have come out as the loser!

jEn....I don't live in "civilization". We are in the middle of nowhere....mountains behind us, desert around and the creek flowing to the east of our property. It's an interesting spot for this part of the desert.
And...we get Mountain Lion, Javalina (wild boar), Bobcat, Coyotes, rattlesnakes, scorpions, Gila Monsters..........
It took a lot of getting used to for this city girl! And they wonder why I like Vegas so much....all the big kitties there are behind bars.

I don't know how many times a season the doves lay eggs. As of today, mama and daddy were still coming and staring into the empty nest. Empty nest syndrome.....
If I see them begin to repair it like they did after batch #1, I'll know she's laying more eggs.....but then we'll have to figure out how to keep the bobcat from getting up there again. Now that he knows they're there. Barbed wire, maybe.

Hey.....Mr. Goooooose......I'm gonna see Virgil & Frances next Monday! Sunday we all fly into Vegas...starting Monday, three days of P A R T Y !!!

One of our builders was in today and Jay told him that I was taking Bill to Las Vegas....the look on the builder's face was PRICELESS! Pretty soon, our whole little town will be buzzing......it'll be like the "Telephone Game"......by the time I get home they'll have me leaving my husband to run off with my aerobics instructor!
It will be interesting. Bill has never been to Vegas. He comes from a smaller town than HERE....don't remember the state, but the town was Butcher Holler...honest! He's a good 'ol boy, for sure. What till he sees the lights of the "big city"!
