DCL Goddess-Thanks for adding us to the trip list!!

Kat- I think we had 28 tables linked together for the thanksgiving magic this cruise. Thanks to Ron we all had late seating apl rotation--it was perfect!! We were all in the same area of the dining rooms. On semi formal night right after dinner we all posed in the atrium. I believe there is a picture on the 11/19/05 live thread.

To any of you who did the 10 day holiday cruise in 2004, please let us know how many formal nights there were and which nights they were. Thanks!!

Chuck and Lisa

if you go to the site for this cruise, and go to onboard, you can get all the personal navigators for the past 10 day. Hey, how does the Magic look after her dry-docking?

Thanks for the info!! The Magic looks great---there is a large movie screen over the Goofy pool. On Thanksgiving they had football on the large screen so no one needed to miss a game while on vacation!! Scoops turned into Goofy's Galley--fresh fruit, sandwiches and pasta all day long. I heard that the improvements to the spa were amazing---I never made it up there--silly me!! Also, Rockin Bar D is now non smoking which is great!! I am very smoke sensitive and last year I wasn't able to spend any time there. You have to see the pictures of John, Ron and Willie at 80s night!!

Hi everyone :wave2:
Just popping in to say hello. Boy I wish this cruise was this Christmas instead of next. My friend leaves in a few weeks for a Carnival cruise and she hasn't even started getting ready for it! I was already figuring out what Christmas tree to take next year. I think we'll take my DD's American Girl doll tree. It packs away very easily. She doesn't mind since she's beyond the doll stage by many years. Welcome to all the new cruisers!

I mailed a fully-decorated one to the ship last year...cost all of $14.00 and then just donated it to the ladies manning the DISNEY VACATION CLUB desk. As far as I know they're still hauling it out of the ship closet each Christmas decoration time....

Well, I just couldn't stand the wait so I've signed up for another Service Dog cruise...Transatlantic...Miami to Portugal then Barcelona to Disneyland Paris by train for a few days, then home....Great way to celebrate # 60 huh?
:wizard:

Jen, let me know if you need pics. I think I have some of us somewhere. I might have even scanned a family pic from our 2004 7 day cruise.

Looks like there are a lot more of us :) , despite the losses :sad2: . Should be a fun bunch.

Brrr!

I've still got to get a well house put up before THAT kind of cold hits here! When I had my well fixed in April they tore down...well, actually pushed over,... my old rotten well house and now my spiffy new pipes are exposed to the weather, which means hot water in the summer and frozen pipes at the well if the temp gets down to what you're putting up with...

Hi everyone...Cash says Hi, too...
:paw:

I have missed hearing about your adventures with Cash the Wonder Dog or was it the Mighty Ripper!!!! I have decided to do a few days in WDW b4 the cruise rather than the 4 night Magic. I really can't be gone longer 'cause I would miss Sam too much.

Good Luck to you and Boo, Jen.

Sue

The vet thinks Boo is going to be fine...

but

On a really serious note...

I would like to send my prayers to Afleet Alex who was retired today with a major bone chip. He is only 3. For those of you who don't know who afleet Alex is please pray for this year's Eclipse Award winner for 3 year olds and possibly horse of the year. He won the Preakness after almost falling, and then won the Belmont in the 3rd fastest time in recorded belmont history and won by a margin second only to Secretariat. May god be with you Alex as you recover. May the rest of your life be peaceful and may your offspring have your heart, so that we may remember you name forever.

A tribute to Afleet Alex...

That is so neat to see both ships! We were on Wonder in '02 and sailed past Magic in PC. Magic was 'out of service' for virus cleaning. I get goosebumps remembering the dueling horns, waves and cheers. Thank you for the pic.

Sue

Sue, which "Wonder" sailing were you on? We were on the cancelled Eastern sailing the week ofter Thanksgiving in 02 and ended up on the Dec. 1st Wonder as a replacement!!

Jen, do you think they'd let all of us have the same rotation? I don't really care what rotation as long as we can sit with some of the fine folk from this board! This will be our first time doing late seating so it is an experiment for us. I expect dd will probably not eat many dinners with us as she likes to eat earlier but that is fine. She can eat with the kids club as far as I am concerned. Makes for a quieter, more peaceful dinner for us anyway!

I cannot believe we are getting closer to the one year mark on this cruise! It still seems waaaaay to far off but it gets closer everyday! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Everyone requested to "link" there reservations to Willie and My reservation and I was able to get the APL rotation...late for all of us.

Did you do the 4/3 night as a btb? We were on the 3 night, Dec 5-8. Then we spent the following week in WDW.
