I haven't had any problems.

What character dinner would you recommend, Mary Ann? Sam is NOT into the princesses so that would be out. I got the dining package so would be able to do ones that cost 1 dinner each. I know what you mean about breakfast time! I was just looking into different things that might be fun to do with Sam. We will have three park days and two partial days. I figure the first day (a partial) will be for going to Downtown Disney and having dinner at Planet Hollywood (her favorite place), maybe some swimming as well.

Have you done Hoop Dee Doo review yet?????that was great and the food was good and you get alot of it...the show was very funny and my boys loved it...even Branden who is Doomed Forever...lol

Hi!

:yay: :yay: Glad to hear Jen's OK...I was really starting to wonder!

:bday: Robin..!!! I turned 47 a few days after the cruise...49 sounds younger all the time! Enjoy your day! Bummer that the boys got "attitude" about the computer thing, but we moms gotta do what we moms gotta do! Now that Patrick has his license, I wonder how it will go the first time we take the car away! :sad2:

Kat, I have no advice on the character stuff..... But I still haven't gotten your CD.. You'd think if it made it all of the way to Robin by Saturday that it would have been here today. My next door neighbor told me our mail delivery was awful over the holidays...stuff in wrong boxes all the time. I sorta get that at Christmas, or maybe our person was on vacation, but by now they should have it down. Hope it comes soon!

Mary Ann, I haven't had any trouble staying logged on either...
Hope it's going better for you now.

Happy Birthday, Robin.

Today was my first day back in the office since Dec. 14 and all I could think about was how two weeks ago, I was lounging in the sun in the Bahamas. :guilty: :guilty: :guilty: :guilty:

I wonder if Janie would get upset if I quit my job and got one on the Magic...

Hmmmm, I guess I will try clearing my cookies and shutting down.

Kat, I liked Chef Mickey's. Good entrees, but sometimes the prime rib can be hit or miss. I have had really good beef there as well as tough & tasteless :sad1: . We went to 1900 PF for the first time this Christmas and their prime rib was EXCELLENT, but entrees were not that great - we need to get these two places together ;). We got to see Cinderella and Price Charming at 1900PF which was very nice. I also like Crystal Palace (Pooh, Tigger and friends). Good food and fresh with a cute show.

I did not care for Cinderella's Round Table - breakfast. I thought Burger King serves a better breakfast. At least I can eat BK. I could not eat that food. We did not like Liberty Tree Tavern either. Now, I have heard great reviews of this place, so perhaps I just got it on a bad day. However, it was bad enough that I would never return.

I want to try on our next trip, The Garden Grill in Epcot. If you choose that one, I'd be interested on your opinion.

Happy Birthday, Robin.

Let us know how that all works out for you, J.R. :goodvibes

I had a friend that dubbed post vacation adjustment "re-entry." I think that term applies after this trip!

Wonder if we could all get a package deal on the employment thing! My DH might be ready...after his employer announced yet ANOTHER round of layoffs yesterday! He's one of their top performers, so shouldn't have anything to worry about, but never say never... Even so they've already done this so many times he just gets fed up with it. They're so busy cutting back and reorganizing that they can't get to the business of what they're supposed to be doing, which leads to the need for more cutbacks and reorganizations, etc. etc. Plus it's just not much fun sitting around deciding who needs to be let go this time!

Yep, we'll look into that job change with you! The kids may not like it, but they complain a lot as it is (teenagers) so we'll just ignore it like we always do!

Ok, your husband's firm sounds just like mine. We just announced our 4Q earnings will suck and a plan to return to higher profitability will be announced in mid-January. (Note, we actually made millions of dollars in the 4th quarter -- just not as much as we said we were going to.)

We all know what the "plan" means -- more layoffs. I think we're trying to figure out how to layoff 101% of our staff, since every time we lay people off, our stock price goes up.

Yep, and the company I used to work for played the same game as well. I was in finance so it was always a game to make the numbers match what Wall Street wanted to see. (But we tried to stay within the rules, unlike some well known companies that have been in the news the last few years!) It is funny how every time someone announces layoffs the stock jumps up. I agree with you though, there does become a time when that just isn't possible any more. It may be simple-minded of me, but I'm still thinking focusing on the work might help....:confused3

Good luck with your "plan."

Sherrena, I heard that this morning on NPR and thought of Dave! Glad to hear he should be ok.

Hmm, I don't know if I'd want to work for DCL. Those 60+ hour weeks would not be fun. One of my co-workers keeps telling me I need to move to one of the islands and telecommute to work! I am thinking I could live on St. Lucia :cloud9: . We could all go in together and buy a chunk of land and build a DIS compound!!

Only working 60 hours a week would be an improvement.

LOL!!! I try to stick as close to 40 as possible. Since they are paying almost NO overtime right now that isn't difficult. I have two clients doing migrations this weekend, though, so I will definitely be getting some extra time in on Sunday.

:wave2: Hi everyone...not much to say yet today except...have a great day..and catch up with you all later today:thumbsup2

Hay Garry!!! How are you doing??? Are you guys coming to any horse shows down this way soon?? Are you still diving?? Dave got his Nitrox cert and wants to take a wreck diving class and then go to Pensacola to dive the Oreskeny (sp?).

Morning everyone!

Good to see our marathon runner check in....did it go well? Hope so!:goodvibes

Hi Garry, Hi Joanie!

Robin, what a surprise! The magic is going to mexico? (But we knew that, didn't we...:cool2: ) Do you like that Miceage site? They seem to have some pretty good info, but they're a little strong with their negative opinions for me...

Kat, I still haven't gotten your CD. It seems to be in snail mail whatever... I'm hoping to send Mr. Daves samples today. (If my one free hour between working in Kevin's class and meeting my friend to work on taxes doesn't get eaten up by something else!)

I've got 15 minutes before I have to leave...:scared1: Better get on the hair and makeup--don't want to frighten the children.:o

Morning all:) ,
Hope everyone and everything is well around you. We are fine here except Michael stayed home with a tummy ach and if he feels better I will boot him off to school.

Sherrena, as far as Miceage, I don't pay much attention to it unlessit is thrown my way so cant really say how I feel about there points of view but guess if I am throwing them around to otheres I best check into them.

Anyone going to go on the Mexican Riviera Cruise or the Repo cruise?????
We are planning for the Mexican Cruise but if they do the Repo cruise when the kids are out of school than Billie wants to go on that again.

For those of you that are interested and did not look at my links they will be announcing the summer 2008 on Jan 17 and bookings on Jan 31.

And if in 2010 when the new ship is due out I will be on it for sure for Alaska...anyone game for that one????that one will have to be booked as soon as the announcement comes out...or will miss out I'm sure!!!! Bet the price will be sky high...after all someone needs to pay for the new ship mys well be us....;)

So have agreat day and will check in a little later....
Adios Amigos....:thumbsup2
