I was very close to a huge Barracuda at cast away cay! I was watching it as it watched me. When I yelled to a bunch of snorkalers to come and look they swam away fast. Than before I knew it it was gone.3pirates said:I know nobody cares about the difference here but me, but don't you have alligators, not crocodiles? (See, just when I think I know something....I THINK that is what they have in Florida.) They have a lot of them on the islands where we vacation in South Carolina, and my son even has a funny story about coming face to face with one while retrieving a golf ball! (The same Summer he came face to face with a very large Barracuda snorkeling in the netted area at Castaway Cay!) We thought he was exaggerating until an adult who overheard him telling us confirmed the existence of this creature!

On the other hand, my son would end up with a Yugo.

Thistle said:We actually have both. Since I've not got close enough to check out his teeth and eyes he'll be a crocodile.
But you're right, it's probably an alligator.![]()
3pirates said:I didn't know you had both....like I said, just when I think I've learned something... I find out I didn't.![]()
But just to be sure, next time you hear one, go check it out for me, 'kay??![]()
