No. Jen emailed the picture and I printed it onto a fabric iron-on sheet for the pic for the back of the shirt and it looks great. And the large image didn't peel. I think I may not have ironed the little one on enough is all. And probably shouldn't have used the fabric iron-ons for that one. Oh well, live and learn .

Being a diabetic must be terribly difficult at times. Do you take the insulin or is it diet controlled?? My grandmother was diabetic as is my friend. My friend is going on the 4 day cruise in April and is already worried about all the food temptations.

My struggle is staying out of the sun as I have Lupus - I guess going south isn't the smartest thing to do, but I figure life is too short. Sun screen helps too.

I am a type 1 diabetic so I am insulin dependent. I am on an insulin pump. AI have a little more leeway because of the pump but I try to avoid lots of sugary things and I don't drink much, though occasionally I will have a drink or two. It was much worse when I had to take shots; at one point I was on 5 shots a day!

Denise, I was reading one thread where there was speculation that they weren't because a) they all had the same join date and b) Suri Cruise was one of the celbrities and who has ever heard of an infant that could post to the internet?!

If it was early April I'd say it was definitely an April fool's joke. It is so easy to lie on the internet so I just don't know. I'd like to think it is real but I have my doubts at this point.

It's definitely some orchestrated thing, but people have noticed that the tag fairy has visited all of these people, so they think it's something official...DH and I think it is a tease of some sort for some thing coming up....

I think I am done with signs. If I do any more you won't be able to see out door, I fear!

I don't know much about Lupus. I know at one point they thought I might have had it but I didn't. I get burned easily, though, so I always cover myself with at least SPF 30 or higher when in the tropics!

Sounds like you have a very positive attitude which surely helps with the diabetes and it's management. I assume the pump is set up so it can give you enough insulin for the trip.

I hate needles and couldn't imagine having to give injections.

No, I change the site and refill it every two days. It is an external device.

On the shirt thing, Kat, did you have to reverse the image? Maybe I bought the wrong kind of transfer paper....

I'm not sure everyone in my house will have the thing on the front either...but I will!

We're headed out...I checked in between reminders to my children..5 minutes, 3 minutes, etc. Now it's TIME!

Well, I better finish doing some housework - going back to work tomorrow changes my daily routine.

I was diagnosed with Lupus prior to my dd8 being born -so about 10-11 years ago.

The two pregnancy's were helpful in my condition as the increased hormone levels during the pregnancy placed Lupus into what my doctor calls a temporary remission. After my first daughter about 2.5 years later symptoms started up again and then I got pregnant shortly thereafter with baby number 2. Now she is 4 and I have the arthritis particularly bad in my knees, and I am noticing other symptoms slowly creeping back. If they continue I will have to start taking steroids and plaquenil again (anti-malaria drugs) that they use to help control it.

I suggested another baby to dh but he said "NO"- can't imagine why??? My dd4 is a highly spirited child- always on the go. The fact that I am going to be 39 in December and dh is 44 may have something to do with it.

He reminded me that having babies in order to keep my symptoms at bay could not go on forever. I told him women can have baby's now into their 50's - he just didn't jump at the idea. Can't figure out why--- maybe because our DISNEY trips would then be non-existent.

Oh Kat, sorry to hear bout your shirts. Maybe put a cloth over it so that it can take more ironing and not yellow?

Sounds like that pump is a true blessing. I have a friend who takes shots right before she eats. She's got it down to a science.

Denise, you and I can sit in the shade together! I just had a pre-melanoma (still waiting for the lab results to see if it's all gone) dug out of my back, so I've been told no more sun. That's going to be soooo hard for me. But the sun has always seemed to make me sick anyway so I guess it's a good thing.

Good Morning...

POuring here...big surprise! DS 14 had a great party yesterday. but DH and I had enough of very loud 8th graders after an hour and a half - couldn't wait for it to be over. So glad we did it at Red Robin and didn't have to deal with all 7 of them at home!

DD16 and I snuck off to Macys (in the same mall as RR) and while looking for a nice outfit for the cruise for me - got two for her I still hate to shop. I did find a nice skirt and top for me for formal night. Good news - it was in a large not extra large or 1X!!!!!! Now I just need the right stuff to go underneath so I don't look so lumpy

I have so much to do today to make up for yesterday that I need to make a "to do list" to make sure its all done.

Thanks for the reminder Susan, need to get some new underwear for the kidlet. She needs one of those longline sorta bras for her new red dress.

I'm going to wait a bit longer to buy anything. I've been culling my closet for the last few weeks. There is so much I just don't wear anymore and don't like how it looks on me. I know I'm not going to wear it again so might as well make room for new stuff. I've been holding on to some of it for at least 10 years!

I'm hoping for more summer stuff to show up. After all it is Florida you would think we sell that stuff year round, but Macy's and Dillard's all have WINTER stuff in.

We know a family in our area who just booked this trip and I told them I would provide them with some of the scheduled entertainment for this trip!

I know in the past we have had Susan Egan & Jennifer Hudson onboard for Trips!
Any word on whats going on?

Unfortunately, on the 2004 Holiday - 10 Day, no info was released on specific entertainment that was in store for us beforehand. They do have special things going on and if you visit the website "disneycruiser", they have all the Navigators from the 2004 10 Day Holiday Cruise listed. At least that will give her an idea of what may be offered.

Hey do you think those celebrity postings are real??? I saw a post from Oprah, and Kelly Picklar and of course Ty Pennington. I suppose one never knows but with all internet chats you really never know what and who you have on the other end.

I don't think they are the real celebs posting, but I do think the contest (or whatever this turns out to be) is for real. The Mods would have put a stop to this immediately if was not, in fact, the mods who are the ones doing the posting (as celebs) . Did ya get all that??

I found all my shorts today, washed them and put them aside. Never been anywhere warm over Christmas. How warm should I expect??? Find my 2 no sleeved shirts I haven't worn since I moved to WA 11 years ago, or keep to my T-shirts?
