A small intro
I am a huge Disney freak. To others, I might seem abnormal. Im sure many of you have heard things like, Youre going to Disney? Again? or Disney is for kids. Yeah right. Here, on the Disboards, however, I fit right in. My two dcs are following in my footsteps. Yes, I am raising them correctly. This is their second trip this year! DS is too cool to wear character clothes or pose for pics with them, but he loves rides, the theming, and talking to random strangers (more on that later). DD is loves all the girly things (the fairies, Princesses, etc.), the non-scary rides (although she does go on the scary ones-she just closes her eyes). Also joining us on this trip is my mom. I tell her it is her fault I am like this. She took me to WDW almost every year growing up. She did this to me! She says shes too old for busy vacations like WDW, but she can still hang! She is a fast walker and rides Rockin Roller coaster, two requirements for our WDW trip!
This is us after our 'Ohana bfast in June. I'd pretty much given up on my hair and makeup at this point. Don't be frightened. I look a little better in the Dec. pics!
So, this was our first trip to Pop. Growing up we camped in FW, stayed at the Poly, and stayed off-site a few times. We always went on November, too, when crowds and temps were low. The last few years, however, we've stayed at CSR (my LOVE!) but gone in summer when it's blazing and crowded (I was showing someone a pic from an Aug. trip when she asked what was spilled on my shirt. Nothing. It's sweat! There's no looking good during summer!). I took advantage of the free ddp plan to convince my mom that we needed to go again, even though we'd been in WDW for 11 days in June...what can I say...I've got problems! You guys understand!
