I'm still here Shelley.... I don't leave for the airport until tomorrow morning at 11:00. I can't wait either.. I just hope we can make our flight. We just got a winter heavy snow warning.. They say we are going to be getting around 8 in. or more.

Boy, I wont be able to sleep tonight... I wish it was tomorrow already.

Snow is falling very fast right now and not looking good. We are going to go to the airport and see about getting on a sooner flight as its looking like they might start cancelling some of them. We are flying out of midway chicago and the weather is horrible. Expecting 5-8 inches its a total whiteout and the roads are just a solid sheet of ice. We will get a room at the hotel at the airport and just keep checking. Gotta love mother nature..
Well see ya all saturday. Safe travels for those still on there way. Hope we can catch an earlier flight and beat this storm.
Jes we left kalamazoo michigan around 2 and had nothing hit 94 almost to Indiana and it is horrible. Hope you make your flight..

Thanks all... I'm not sure if I should call the airlines and see if we can get an early fight too. DH says that we should be okay with the snow ending around 6:00 am, they should have the roads cleared off by then. But by that time are flight could still be delayed.

I hope that you are able to get a flight out sooner. Let us know. And thanks to all who with us luck with our fights.

Talk about last minute Drama. We have 13 going together, and my brother-in-law just figured out that his passport has expired. Just use a birth certificate and drivers license, right? Not so fast. He was born in Canada but has a US drivers license. Immigration says he can't get on the boat with documents from different governments. So he made an appointment for 11:30am tomorrow at the Miami, FL passport office to get same day service on a new passport. Well we are a 12 hour drive form Miami, so he is leaving as we speak to drive all night to get his passport.

Unbelievable! But i'm just glad it looks like he'll be able to come. Talk about some lsat minute stress!

OMG! What Last minute Drama. I wish your brother-in-law a quick & fast trip. I would be going nuts!
My DD wants to leave tonight & go the airport. Even though our plan doesnot leave until tomorrow at 4:30 pm. kids! I have to admit I'm just as excited as she is.

I am going to venture to say that I just might be the one who officially makes the last, pre-cruise post to this thread... since I won't be departing my house until 10am Saturday morning. Those are the breaks when you only live 45mins from port.

So see you all on Saturday, I will work very hard to get us to 3100, even if I have to talk to my self!

Not a good start to our vacation. If any of you are watching and are seeing the southwest airline that ran off the runway at Midway Chicago, well that is the plane we are flying on tomorrow. We are at Midway now and the FAA has closed the airport down, no flights in or out..ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHhhh. Southwest will let us upgrade to the first available flight out for an additional $1300 for the 3 of us..No hotels have any rooms.. This is not good. It takes 24 hours to drive from where we are now, so this is looking very bad. Need lots and lots of pixie dust.

And I am sitting here thinking that all that bad weather that is in Chicago, usually gets to us within the next day!
