OK guys! I just updated the site with the wine & cheese info. It will be Sunday at 2 pm in room 8004. This if for adults.

Okay, I have the garment bag packed. All of our dinner attire packed, all of my clothes, the kids clothes (still need pjs from the dryer), DH still has a few things in the dryer. All of the shoes are packed minus the dress shoes that DD will wear tonight for her concert. All of the pirate night stuff is in the suitcases. Now, I just need to get all camera stuff together, carry on stuff and toiletries. I keep thinking I am forgetting something though.

Vanessa, I will keep my eye peeled for the Tag Fairy, but like you I just want to kick back with a Konk Cooler and relax.

I know what you mean, I keep walking around the house looking around to see what I have forgotten to pack!

Our flight leaves tomorrow morning at 10:40 am. We will have to leave really early to get there though, because it is snowing now and is supposed to continue throughout the night. I guess we could get up to 6 inches. In good weather it takes us almost an hour to get to the airport, who knows how long it will take tomorrow.

Ughgh - I am talking to my Drama Queen sister. She is now quitting her job and going to school full time. She is taking 17 hours at the local CC....now this is not a girl who is interested in school.
I am sick of the drama..I have enough...now they are going to the xmas party too, I think I may tell her we are going on Thursday instead.

I have a sister in-law like that.. She also quit her job, went to school. She desided that school was not for her and quit that. My Mother In-law has to help her out with her bills and other things. It's been three years now and she still has no job.

Several people are emailing asking about the wine & cheese. Here's the deal. If you want to bring wine to share, great. If you want to bring any other treat to share, that is great too. I will be ordering some cheese trays from room service. I, myself, will not be having wine but will grab a soda beforehand...so you don't have to drink wine to attend. This will just give us a chance to visit for a bit.

Well, John's DD's pirate skirt is done!!!! I also made DH a red sash with the remnants to brighten up his outfit.

How is everyone tonight? Its so cold here that I can not wait to get warm. I almost forgot to pack my binnoculars and ds reminded me that he wanted to look for dolphins off the verandah. Good thing he mentioned it or I would have never heard the end of it, had I forgot to pack it.
Looking at the suitcases packed by the door you'd think we were going on a 6 month vacation.
Looks like Friday I'll be alone huh? I dont leave til late afternoon.

I'm out here Lisa! Not for long though.

Took Amy's mom out for dinner to our favorite Greek Restaurant tonight. She is going to miss us while we are gone - we are her support group here at home.

Only one bag left to pack and it is an easy one. My dress clothes.

At this rate, don't know if we will make 3000 . . .

Kind of quiet out there.

We leave Friday morning, so I'll keep posting.

BTW - pretty darn cold here too! Stopped for gas tonight, and Sophia was laughing at me as I tried to keep warm by jumping up and down as I filled the tank.

It was about 20 outside - that kind of cold where when you walk on the snow it is "crunchy".

Boy, will I be glad to see some warm weather now!

We're Here!

We had a really long day. We left Portland at 6 am, after not sleeping more than a couple of hours. Excitement? Traffic noise? Anyway, we had 1 1/2 hours between flights in Denver, then once we got on the plane we had to sit for 2 hours and wait for the water tanks to be filled. Sheesh! We got to Orlando finally at 7pm. We took the Magical Express and were quite happily surprised that we were at OKW by 8:10. Pretty good to be here only one hour after the wheels touched the ground. We are now fed, clothes pressed and ready to call it a day.!

I talked to Jordan right after we landed and he is here safely also!

I did not read thru all the posts of the last 2 days, but did see that the Wine/Cheese gathering is set for Sunday at 2. Works great for us, we brought 5 bottles of wine. 2 of ours, one Oregon Pinot Noir, one Oregon Pinot Blanc and one Oregon Chardonnay. We are really looking forward to meeting all of you. We have found Disers to be the greatest people.
