12/10/05 ~ Anyone else cruising.....??

This batch of wine we made from concord grapes. (we use whatever is free! ;) ) Everyone who tastes it is pleasantly surprised, even DD who is devoted to Pinot, Merlot or Syrah. We will be happy to bring 2 bottles for tasting. We have to bring two because we made two batches and one is sweeter and one is dryer. Both are very fruity though.

DH still has a few chores for the trip. He needs to make little thank you cards to hand out to CMs that make our day. We took a bunch last year and gave some out at WDW as well as on the ship. The CMs at WDW were very surprised and seemed very pleased. He can't find his business card paper so we have to make a trip to Walmart.

Cristi - we had chili too - I am eating it now!!
Finishing up watching the SEC champ game...I am torn, I am glad GA won as we SMOKED them this year, but if LSU had won then since they are ranked 3rd, they would have had a good BCS standing/bowl.......oh well!!

Okay, I am finally home from work. My cousin, Wendy, and her family leave in 10 hours for LAX and then off to Orlando at 7am. I am leaving at 1130pm on Monday night. So much to do. So little time.

Both the Texas/Colo and USC/UCLA games were ugly.

Just let me know when the wine and cheese event is and I'll bring my keg with me.

Both! Thank goodness VT just scored. :( It is terrible when your team just stops playing.

Maggie - good for you on Wal-Mart. I am of the same mind, for more reasons than I can mention.

Lisa, sorry, but we are rooting for Florida State so Ohio State can get a better BCS bid now that LSU lost.

All of our clothes and laundry are now organized, and ready to pack tomorrow - we hope to get that all done so we can have four fairly stress-free days before we leave.

Happy trails to those of you who have left already, or are leaving soon. We'll see if we can make it to 3000.

And yeah, the white stuff is flying again to put us in the mood to get the heck out of here!

John

Good thing DH isn't reading this. ;)

Today wasn't very productive for me. I was woken up by the (*%&@* dogs next door barking at 5:40 am. :( :( :( DD had crawled into bed with us since DS was gone for a sleep over so it woke her up too. I tried everything to get both of us to go back to sleep but no good. When we went downstairs I found out that DH had gone to the office. Trying clean or pack while both kids are home is impossible. The Christmas parade downtown was suppose to start at 3 but it didn't get going until after 4. :( There went my trip to the grocery store for dinner. Inbetween everything I did manage to go thru DD's summer clothes & pull out what she might wear on the cruise. I put everything else into space bags, then had to redo her closet a bit since those bags hold alot more & the top shelf was starting to bend a bit. I cleared her bed & now just have to go thru the pile on hrr chair tomorrow. I wont feel better until I have at least packed her things. DS's will be so easy compared. This is the latest I have been packing & it's not a good feeling.

Just a little later, and we can make 2600.

Looks like just you and me Lisa, and you have that Magic moderator no-time limit.

DS was home, and we were listening to Canton McKinley playing Oak Hill Academy on the radio. Oak Hill is the #1 rated HS BB team in the country - we LOST by ONE point!

We were rated #8 in the nation, #1 in OH.

Lisa - too sick to type, or just waiting for 2599?

Serving up #99 - is anyone paying attention?
