LOL! I am glad to just be able to make a post today. The carnival was a hit but I am dragging today. After a week of being at the school 8-4 & working at home until 11 (or later a few nights) it is catching up to me. Whew! What alot of work that was! Not sure that I would have agreed to it if I had known...but isn't that always the way it is?

I manged to play with the website & figure out how to adjust the picture sizes. They are now all saved as webready, which means that they aren't as clear or bright but I think that they all look good. I have added all of the newcomers. What a bunch of you have joined up this week! HELLO! I have sent an email with the link to everyone I have on the site. If you sent me your info & didn't get the email...please PM me so that I can get it fixed. Also, please check your pictures & info if you are new. I had to switch out all of the pictures so everyone please make sure that I put your pictures where they belong. I have added the 3:30 meet on Saturday along with the 2:30 one at the Mickey Pool. If there is anything that needs to be added anywhere on the site, please let me know. We are up to 80 people & that is alot to keep up with!

Did anyone else see the last bit of the Tenn / Alabama game? I sat down with 5 to go & that was an incredible 5 minutes of play! I don't root for either team but do love a good game. It gets a little old when your team blows the other one out of the water again & again.

We had to leave for a fundraiser at our sister church tonight (The other Greek Church in town) . . . who won Lisa, Alabama or Tennessee - I was watching the game before we left? What happened?

Lisa - pictures still look fine to me. I read somewhere that most computer screens can only display at web ready resolution anyway, so it is not necessary to save at higher resolution.

It was one of the most exciting finishes that I have seen this year! They were tied 3-3...which either means they are both very good or they both stink. I didn't watch the rest of the game so IDK. Tennessee fumbled the ball from a block with less than 2 yards to go. OUCH! Alabama got the ball next play & threw a Hail Mary to their 30 yard line. Great teamwork got them in place for a 34 yard FG with 18 seconds left on the clock when they called the time out to set it up. It was an easy FG & with Tennessee's last play...Alabama intercepted the ball with the first pass. Apparently The Tide hasn't won at Tennessee in a VERY long time.

Glad to know about the pictures. Some of them were loaded at 2 million bytes +. Now they are all under 50K. Lots more room to add info now.

I am completely convinced that Jordan getting post 1000, 1100 AND 1200 is not coincidence.

Jordan, we are Trojans, but have been displaced to Oregon, so were of course rooting for the Beavers today. Oh well....we could just hope. I think you are right both UCLA and USC will be undefeated going into that game.

Lisa the website looks great. My goodness there are alot of us now. I read the bios and found some things we have in common with some folks.

The Brown family - I LOVE my Saturn. It will be nice to meet some of the folks that made them. We had purchased 4 of them early in the 90's and our local Saturn dealer had us, our kids and grandkids do a commercial for them. Was fun to see ourselves on TV.

M&R Goss - my DH (Dennis AKA DrHug) is also a pharmacist. Graduated from USC ( Jordan) in 1980. He was a "late bloomer" (graduated at 35) as he served in the Army in VietNam first, then went to college after.

Darci - DH loves hunting, shooting and fishing also.

Our Bio is incomplete. Don't know what I did, but I will send update to Lisa.


We would be very interested in a Wine and Cheese Dis meet. Deck 7 aft would work great. We can bring a few bottles of wine and order the cheese trays from room service.

Upgrades only happen if:

You don't have a room number when you book but you can't ask for "no room". If a room number is available they have to give it to you. When you don't get a room number, that means they don't have a room to give you so they could upgrade you in the future. If not you could be anywhere on the ship. I use to work for RCI Cruise Line. :0)

Disney Cruise Line oversold the room type you are in and they need more of those rooms so they move you out.
Disney only upgrades about 2-3 categories/room types up from where you are.
Don't try to ask for an ugprade at the pier. It won't happen but they might charge you less if its available.

Well Wilma has now moved into the Gulf still a 2 and we are under Hurricane warning (means will hit in the next 24 hours. I am working (my pt job today) and John has to work today since he is taking off from Wednesday on. Luckily he works at a grocery store and my PT job is Home Depot - so if we need any last minute goodies we can get them.

As is stands now we will probably evacuate tonight or early evening. I don't want to be stuck in the traffic. We may head to Gainesville...they are advising us all to evacuate NORTH of Orlando. We have to board (DH) the house up yet and get our supplies together.

Please keep everyone in her way in your thoughts and prayers....

We had a wonderful couple on the 10 day last Dec who did not drink any "adult beverages", but came to the Dis wine meet and completely enjoyed the good company with their sodas! All are welcome!

It always kills me on Sunday mornings. I can watch about the 1st 20 minutes of DirecTV's football pkg, meaning I can watch about 8 games at once, and then I have to leave for church.....oh well...priorities.

Hey Jordan - you and DH can beer it together...although I can convince him to try some wine once and a while.

We didn't evacuate....I got off work at 3, bought some more plywood....went to Publix and spent a fortune and now we are hunkered down kind of waiting for the power to go off. I feel like we are in a cave. So basically it is hitting some time tonight and they are still predicting Naples although you never know. I will probably be up all night. So - I am packing for WDW! At least that keeps my mind off it for a few minutes!!
