AAAWWW! Look at us! I miss you all so much.
Then heading north along the east coast we could visit Kentucky (friend of DrHug's from VietNam), North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey. Then by spring head back west thru IN and of course a stop in OHIO!!! We could then be back in MT by late spring and look for a house. Who did I miss?? Someone I am sure. I have to get my list and plot our route.

I hope it is LATE spring for Ohio . . . and PA . . . you really don't want to be here in the snow do you? Right now the weather is just about PERFECT.

Too bad you couldn't be here during this time of year, our annual Football Hall of Fame Festival is heating up for the big celebration next weekend.

I hope it is LATE spring for Ohio . . . and PA . . . you really don't want to be here in the snow do you? Right now the weather is just about PERFECT.

Too bad you couldn't be here during this time of year, our annual Football Hall of Fame Festival is heating up for the big celebration next weekend.

We will let the weather forcasts make our decisions for us as to how late in the spring we need to head back across the great plains. Maybe another year or two we can make a summer trip and spend the winter playing in the snow (me...shoveling snow>Dennis!) one year.

We will give you plenty of lead time, IF we ever get on the road! We can run the basics on 110. Our nephew and family tried to run the air conditioner and microwave on their rig in our driveway and popped a circuit. We know not to do that though. We can run the basics on just 110 and turn on the generator for a bit if we need something more. I really cannot wait to go Geek house hopping!!

I have a question for those of you familiar with I-95 in the NC area.

We are leaving our house on Dec. 26 to go to HH Island in SC. We cannot check into the resort there until the 27th. We have a 12 hour drive and my parents want to break it up. We decided to do about 8 hours the first day and then only have 4 more the second.

I have been on priceline.com trying to get a room in Fayetteville, NC. That is about the 8 hour point. Do you guys have any other suggestions to try for a room near there?

Total Estimated Time: 8.0 hours 52 minutes Total Estimated Distance: 501.21 miles according to mapquest from you to us. It is about 6 1/2 hours to HH from here though so it would add a bit of time for you.

I really do appreciate the offer....but we are not traveling alone and I think my Mother would seriously have heart failure if I told her that. She is just...so....not into computer anything...especially friends. She just doesn't understand!!!!

An option (but north of Fayetteville, leaving you more driving on Day 2) is to stop around Smithfield/Selma (exit 97). There's a great outlet shopping complex there to get some after-holiday deals and stretch your legs. I haven't stayed in a hotel there (I'm pretty sure there's a Hampton and a Holiday Inn Express), but it's been a frequent stop on visits to my parents' house (and it was our halfway point between our old house in Richmond, Va, and my parents' house in SC.)

I didn't start until this past April/May. I have not done the precruise WDW part yet but I do have one book filled with the first three days and the next one has up through Costa Maya in it. I have the rest of the trip pretty much done but not journaled. I am going to take pictures to share when I get a chance. This has been so much fun to do because of all the great memories.

We each have a journal. And we have a log book that we put mileage, time of departures and arrivals, dollars spent for gas , etc in.
