At DS's school they have cut recess to only 15 minutes a day and he only has PE once a week. How do they expect children to get the required amount of daily physical activity if they cut it so drastically?

Our school has PE once a week for 45 min and recess for 30 every day. Although, they can't run at recess!! I hate when teachers take recess away from kids because they didn't finish class work. Often those are the ones who need to blow off the most steam!

I think I read it starts at 11pm. I wish it were earlier though. I'm worried my kids will be tired and won't want to be in the club that late but I really want to go to the 80s night.

Late they have movies on in the club and a big blanket they lay on to watch it. Most just fall asleep and let Mommie PARTY!

The stingray incidents are pretty freak accidents. I highly doubt anything like that would happen on the CC excursion. Also, there are much more dangerous things out in that water.

I used to be pretty fearless when going out in the ocean. We would swim pretty far out to a sandbar. Then I saw aerial pictures of our beaches and you should have see the schools of sharks! (not sure if schools apply to sharks as well) I'll still go out there but am constantly aware of my surroundings.

I love to go way out into the ocean. I realize there are nasty creatures and also rip currents...but I just love it! I can't help myself!

Okay , I will give you some what of the short version

My Mom went in for Back surgery Friday, she is fine but I have been running back and forth to check on her when Dad has been at work , Because of that my plane building has been delayed so I am behind on that . DS 14 became ineligible for football with only 2 games left cause he getting an F in Band ...Holy s#it Band ??? I couldnt believe it ..It appears that when he was supposed to be performing at the Varsity game he decided not to perform but just watch the game with his friends and he got caught ...Dumb a** ..anyway since the band director saw him he loses 65% of his grade in band ,,,which he had an A now its an F ...He is the starting receiver for the freshman team and Coach wants him on Varsity next year , they were undefeated till last week couldnt play and they lost big time ..DS feels like crap cause he let his team down , so he has been bummed ...other then that ...its okay ...Im stressed cause being a coach myself I know what it feels like when you have a player you need out there ...and hopefully this wont effect his aspirations to play for USC after High School ...Okay , you gotten more out of me in this post then over the last 6 months ....lol

Very True. If the kids are happy then the parents will be happy. Happy parents are spending more $$$$ at the bars and not taking cranky kids to bed!!!

We have another beautiful day here. We have a hayride to go to with the GSs this afternoon and I wasn't sure how the weather was going to be. It was a bit gloomy this morning.

We had the same weather!!! It is looking better now. We are planning on going into town (Schuylkill Haven) for the annual Halloween parade.

so last night I started matching up my outfits for the cruise...ya know...just to be sure I had all 28 outfits complete! I hate packing... I can never figure out what to bring and what not to bring.

ok explain 28 outfits to me - what size suitcase are you bringing? I was thinking 3 a day and mix and match.

I am trying not to bring it if at all possible.
