I found my lions costume..... for $7.99 at toys r us online. Free shipping!!!!

It was the Wizzard of Oz Cowardly Lion costume...

They've got some really cute costumes for really cheap right now. If your kids like dressing up, you should check it out.

That's great Karen!! Glad you pulled it out without having to worry all weekend. But maybe you should make DS sweat it out a bit.

Today I found out that our county will start implementing a new program next week. They will now have a curriculum for recess. The kids will NOT be allowed to do what they want to do, even if they need some down time. Kids just don't get to be kids anymore.

You know the teachers use it for some down time too. Gives everyone a little breather.

With everyone talking about reducing recess and exercise...I had to laugh at the fact that our school implemented a no birthday treat policy this year...no sweets for snacks at lunch...any food sold at school has to follow a very strict ingredient policy...AND yesterday they each came home with pedometers...those little things you hang on your belt to measure how much you walked.

Of course, third and fourth graders are apparently smart enough to figure out how to trick the little thing. I saw my boys sitting there shaking the things to get their numbers higher to bring to school.

The kids had them last year. We also have no bitrhdays in school, but not because of treats. They don't want the ones who have birthdays in the summer to feel left out. We also can not bring in anything that is homemade. Has to be packaged and still in the original seal.

You can still separate - Amy and I do this. You can do all the checking in but the final verification for him. When he shows up, he will have to go up to the CM at the counter to finalize the check in.

I drop Amy off with Sophia, (and the luggage) and then take the rental car for return, taking their shuttle back. (which was an adventure last time - but better me than Amy).
