Oki I am watching the mcDreamy movie where he was pizza delivery guy who offered extra services. It took me a minute to connect the younger mcDreamy. But it clicked when i saw him in bed, lol.

Pj
You've been in bed with him?? :faint: :scratchin

I always thought that chicken pot pie was a soggy mess. ugh. they look pretty though.

we had a friend whose child decided that chutney was their condiment of choice. when we visited they pulled out a several gallon jar of it and placed it one the table so their 4 yr. old could enjoy her dinner. LOL.

I am calling it a night at 39900. I just can't stay awake to read the other umpteen pages. Tomorrow I will be out all day too. I think that you should take a well deserved vacation from the boards & spend some time with your families! ;) :)

Kim I must have missed it a few hundred pages ago...where are ya going now?

I am in L.A. checking my e-mail and decided to try and catch up for a sec. I am scared about how long it will take me to catch up on sunday! DH is at a session, we are watching barnyard.

All of the basketball players in the lakers tourney or something like that are in this hotel tonight. DH keeps telling me all the people he is meeting in the elevator. I have no idea who he is talking about.

I saw Preston and Ed at the extreme makeover house this morning, but everyone was wearing shirts and coats. 32 degrees...

More later...

That's so funny....I love hot/spicy.....pepperoncinis are my fave - I won't tell ya'll what I put them on though!

John and my second date....(our first was a Yankees/Philly's game ---- YUCK) anyway, we went to Hooters for - wings - and I kept putting hot sauce on, then he did and then it was a competition.

Well I don't lose well at all! I could not tell you how many pitchers of beer we went through. Tears were coming out of both of our eyes but no one was giving in. We went through the jar at the table.

I did end up winning.....although Johnny may tell you differently.

:rotfl: I'm the same way. I like my food HOT and I love peppers. Of course after eating that stuff most of my life I now have to take nexium daily. I won't give up the spicy foods though. No way!

V - A dumpling is like boiled dough. I don't really care for it very much but my Mom used to like to make chicken and dumplings which is kind of like a chicken pot pie filling mixed in with this boiled doughy dumplings. I think it is a bit of a Southern thing.

I have never eaten dumplings.

Sometimes I wish that I could make a room or two disappear. :thumbsup2

LOL Lisa, that's probably what happened. Someone got tired of cleaning the room and boarded it up. Then it was mysteriously found years later.

I have once again reached the end of the internet! DrHug is watching Little Mermaid. I'm going to join him. Goodnight

So that's how we hit 40000 today????? :rotfl: You guys are killing me here! I have been working my butt off today begging for the school. We managed to get some great donations for auction baskets for the carnival. I also found a bunch of scrapbook stuff 75% off at Target for the 2nd grade basket for our contribution. :) After rushing home to meet the kids at 3, I made cupcakes for DD's party and ordered balloons to pick up at 4:30. I helped DS write a story about his field trip and DD put together the goodie bags to hand out to her friends at the party. We got there on time with the balloons. The party was so easy!!! We got home & cleaned up, got the kids bathed, and into bed. Tomorrow will be at the school all day again. I can't wait until NEXT Saturday when this carnival is over with!

When I lived at the beach my roommate had piercings everywhere. Her boyfriend had peircings everywhere. My dad said that I needed to keep a pair of pliers around in case of accidental entanglement!

We were on the bus one time (that roomie and I.) One of the tourists started to laugh and said it was like "Becky from Sunny Brook farm meets the Spawn of Satan." It wasn't a very nice thing for her to say...but we must have looked odd. I always remembered that strange offhand comment.

Weird!

MICKEYPLAN

For those of you who are caught up & enjoying my torture....Just wanted to let everyone know that BOTH busses are FULL for the CM ruins tour. There are NO MORE SEATS available with the group. Now back to your regular insanity. ;) I will update the website with this info eventually.

I tried to stop them Lisa...really! :sad2:

I like catching up when no one else is here. I am not missing anything new and I know I can stop when I reach myself. That doesn't sound right...

Hmmmm???? About the pot pie thing.....I say, when in Rome do as the Romans do. Well, I didn't actually say that, but I am agreeing with the "coiner of the phrase". When I was little we used to eat at the "Chicken Pie Shop'. Notice that it wasn't the "Chicken POT Pie Shop". They were chicken pies with a crust. They had chicken pot pie as a filling. ;)

You are such a good mediator Dennis! :thumbsup2
