I didn't think you were evil John! DD woke up at 2A this morning when I finished watching Celebrity Fit Club and would not go back to bed until I did. She said she needed to sleep in our bed and Daddy wouldn't let her put her feet on him the same way I do (Gee, I didn't realize I had a chose).

OK Carla, time for another one of those "twilight zone" moments that we were discussing in chat.

When Sophia sleeps in our bed, Amy does not want her to be touching her! Sophia is all over me, with her feet, etc. Doesn't bother me - I even relegate myself to about six inches on the edge of the bed and sleep on my side.

Of course, doesn't bother me when Amy does that either, but she has trouble sleeping beside or next to someone.

So, are Amy and Carl even more alike?

What did you think of the Mercury - did you post on it and I missed it?

No, I was offline until tonight . . .

I did not drive it Carla. That is the first time I had a salesperson talk me OUT of looking at a car. The financing and incentives on the Hybrids is bad, the lease rates are even worse! The dealership I went to was smelly of old cigarette smoke too, and rather than drive it anyway, I decided to leave.

So I went to another cleaner dealership, and there decided to try and drive the new Lincoln MKZ. Really nice car. Fun to drive, and AWD.

But, I told Amy, I would either feel like I should be older (driving a Lincoln), or that I should be selling drugs out of the trunk, or that I should have the bass shaking the windows.

The Lincoln, while a nice car, was just too pretentious for me to be tooling around town with a 6 year old in the back seat.

So, Freestyle Wagon it is. We could not wait for the new Edge, because it will not be out until Nov. I have an extra $1,000 incentive that expires Oct 31 through my dad.

We are getting a silver birch colored one with black interior.
