The broccoli really adds a lot to the dish and of course it is zero points. I usually pair this when I am being good with a nice salad. When I am being bad with a loaf of garlic bread that is used to sop up the sauce. I guess I will be good today. ;)

Well it is time to go. See you guys later. :)

So yesterday came and went. Loved all the smilies.

(i probably won't get a chance to check in again till tonight but wanted to share.)

My doctor called though with results of my Sleep (no-sleep) study. I say no sleep because the rooms weren't very sound-proof at all. 1) there were tons of crickets right in bushes outside the window. (my brm at home is on 3rd floor so cricket noise is never that bad) 2) The techs were using a microwave to heat their meals in a room right next door to mine and you could hear the beeping. I think they had cell phone going off too. 3) The other "sleep" guests kept needing to get up during the night and i could hear every time they opened/closed doors. 4) i could even hear the person in the room next to me snoring. 5) someone must have had oxygen on because i could hear that whoosh sound i kid you not every few minutes.

This was a torture study; not a sleep study... :sad2:

It's a wonder i had any results at all...

Anyway, they said i have moderate obstrutive sleep apnea and actually am getting lower o2 levels in deep sleep. :scared1: They said they wanted to have me come back for another test. (As if i'm going back to that location!!! It'll be a cold day with my mp3 and ear plugs before that happens.)

Well don't post too many more pages today. Have to keep up ya know... :smooth:

My work day started blech at 8:25A can it get any better?! It's only Tuesday. At least getting off to school this morning was fine.

I can't participate in the date stuff - I'm definitely a "guy" like that I suppose since I never remember dates. Heck it already happened what's happening tomorrow is my motto. No seriously that's so bad. I never remember years etc. I remember the events just not the years but I'll give it a shot

We met in 1980s (1987 - I think) - I couldn't stand him
We became best friends (go figure)
We started dating (everyone wondered what took us so long)
We stopped dating
Still best friends but not dating (duh)
My mom died and I moved to Manhattan
I had a blast there
He visited
I moved back,we got engaged
We got married in 1997 (next week is our anniversary)
DD was born in 2000
He's still my best friend

Good morning! I can't catchup with the last few days posts so forgive me if I sound clueless.... I am....

Let's see... I am a Tide and Cascade person as well. Mom used Tide so I used Tide. Mom handwashes dishes -- I try not to :rotfl2:

Our timeline:
August 1991 - met DH
May 1992 - graduated college
March 1994 - bought first house
August 1996 - got married
April 1999 - DS born
May 2002 - DD born
And every day just gets better

And last night my DSis called to sing her rendition of Hap Birth to me and used a name (nickname) for me that i haven't used since HS. Wondering how she even remembered it.

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!

I am trying to catch up, missed a day and far behind.

So yesterday, I get home from work and Paul was trying to fix the dryer, it's been sounding like it has been dying for some time now....anyways...he was working on it when it started on fire, he moved some of the wires and bam! Lucky for him it was contained in the dryer only. He was totally freaked out. I was at work at the time. Needless to say....I have to spend my morning pricing out new washer and dryer combos....I think at this point now, it will be cheaper than having a repair man come and fix it...plus, you can see all the burn markings on it :guilty: Not even sure if it will even be usable again. It was a gas dryer too....thank GOD nothing worse happend.

He did say that he will NO longer be experimenting (trying to fix anything) with electricity or gas :rotfl:

OMG! Did he at least have it unhooked from the gas line??

I am at work. Kids teeth looked great. : :thumbsup2

Payroll not too bad yet but not as easy as before either.... ;)

DH may buy the old 2 GB iPod Nano for $100 if they have any left at lunchtime. It will be an early birthday present for him. I think that is a pretty good deal.

After work I have to go do some grocery shopping so it is a good thing that dinner is practically done. :)

I am going to leave for lunch I think. I just uploaded three journals for processing so it takes a bit.

Tonight John has softball and I am going to try and stay off the pc. He brought home tons of meat last night - chicken, ribs, steak, etc. So we'll have something out of that bunch I am sure.

How many more days?

Becka when did you start taking the kids to the dentist? I need to get on that.

I first took DS to a pediatric dentist before he was two because he had some dark spots on his teeth that I wanted checked out. He said it was fine and to bring him back for regular checkups starting when he 3 to 3 1/2. I didn't really care for him very much so I knew I needed to find someone else before then.

Last January right before Allie turned 1 she took a hard fall and chipped her two front teeth so we needed to find another pediatric dentist to make sure she did not damage the teeth too badly. My dentist recommended our current pediatric dentist and she was fantastic with DD so I made an appointment for DS this past spring when he was not quite 4. She wants to see DS every six months for a cleaning and a check-up and she wants to just kind of keep any eye on DD's teeth and is having me bring her to DS's appointments just for a quick look. She recommends that we start DD's cleanings when she turns 2.

I'm not Becka, but my kids have all started about age 2. Of course, when your MIL is a dental hygienist you don't want to mess that up. Poor DD8 has really bad teeth (probably my fault because I didn't take enough vitamins or drink enough milk while pregnant). She's had a number of cavities already. DD13 is great, and so far DS3 is great.

That Downey Simple Pleasures and Tide Simple Pleasures, purple bottle is WONDERFUL. Paul and I are hooked on it. We even wash all of our bedding in it and our bedroom will smell like that for days........I am still waiting for my free samples to come in the mail...P&G site was sending out free samples a while back....

I need to try that. I tried the one in the pink bottle, it's nice but it's not something that I fell in love with. I have coupons to try them though so I'll try the purple next. What is the fragrance?
