:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Really appreciated that today John! Thank you!

You're welcome,

I was cracking up all day at some of those . . . Amy really liked them too and shared them with her co-workers. I bet I could put one up in my office, and it would be a really long time before someone read it and understood what it really was.

These are mine, I don't really get it yet...

Formal" night on 3 and 4 night cruises 02:39 26-Sep-06
Magic Kingdom Dining not so magic... 03:20 26-Sep-06
"Sticky daycare situation" thread - gone? 13:01 26-Sep-06
"homework" assignment for 2nd interview 14:41 26-Sep-06
"Training" show at Pocahontas in Ak? 16:21 26-Sep-06
"Love Bugs?" 22:35 26-Sep-06 are mine: I don't really get it yet...

Well, up till now our pre cruise plans have been to drive as far as we can get after school on Friday, stop over at an el cheapo hotel in north Fla Friday night, then complete the drive on Saturday morning.

So, DH says to me earlier this week he thinks he can make it all the way to Orlando Friday evening so why don't we make reservations at an All Star? HA! I've been trying. Why didn't any of you tell me that you have to take a blood test to find out availability there? Yikes! Anyhow, we are settled with a room at Best Western on Hotel Plaza. Don't look for us at Jellyrolls however, I still don't expect us to get there before midnight.

I can't believe how well Jerry did. That was his best attempt so far!

Here are the links that show for me...I wonder what this says about us?

"Unusual" MK Parade Question 12:52 24-Sep-06
"Resale Shops" - Where to find? 16:00 24-Sep-06
"Deadbeat Dads" ( or moms ) 04:26 25-Sep-06
Special "beer" report 16:06 25-Sep-06
"Mature" couples 16:14 25-Sep-06
"Formal" night on 3 and 4 night cruises 02:

We are unusually formal and mature while we drink beer at resale shops with deadbeat Dads? :rotfl:

Love it Becka!

When I used to listen to local sports talk a lot on lunch (do any of you listen to Jim Rome?), all the commercials were for beer, viagra (or fake substitutes), male enhancement herbs, baldness cures, online gambling, and strip clubs. I figured the only people listening were impotent bald men with small swords drinking beer in strip clubs while they played poker on their computers.

So I stopped listening. I honestly DID get sick of all those commercials.

Public radio is much better . . .

It isn't lazyness, and I do eat meat with bones. T-bone, Ribeye, Porkchops. I just can't figure out how to eat birds.

I don't mind cutting around the bones in pork chops, etc. - and I give them a WIDE berth . . . I think the bones make it too REAL to me that this was actually a living thing that I am eating. I am not a vegetarian (but if I toured a stockyard I probably would become one).

I also am very picky about fat on my meat, or skin on chicken too. I guess that is good - I don't like all the bad for you stuff.

Not a cave man. Just look like one!

A few tips on getting a room at a value resort.

#1 Always call the moment they open because reservations cancelled the day before don't seem to show up in the system until the next day.
#2 Lie and say you want more than 1 night - tell them you want to book 3 nights. If available book it and then call the next day to cancel the other two nights.

I want to make a countdown to disney. I think it will also help us stay on our diet...it will see how few days we actually have....

actually we have a room, but I was trying to change. Seems that this weekend in particular is really really BOOKED.....the values have the Pop Warner thing going on etc, etc. I am happy with what we have but I am choking at the price.

Kim,

Sophia made me go through those three times! Great pictures! Tell Savannah that Sophia really liked her outfit too - her favorite color is pink. Now she is asking me if she can learn to skate . . . OY!

Sophia is doing Irish dancing and ballet at the local dance school here. Dancing is about all I can handle now . . . there is a rink now only about 15 minutes from our house. We may have to look into it . . .

I didn't say it worked for me today.

In the past when we had short notice we have been able to book by calling first thing in the morning where we did not have any luck for days prior.

The booking more than 1 day used to be a trick I read about on here before. There seemed to be rooms available occasionally for people wanting more than one night but not for just one night. Disney wants people in their resorts to stay longer - it appeared to give a little bit of preferential treatment to those wanting to book a longer stay on occassion - especially on weekends.

Also when packages become due at 45 days out I would make sure to be on the phone early that morning because then there will likely be some cancellations.
