I took Allie to the doctor for her checkup and her doctor ended up putting her on antibiotics. Poor thing...hopefully she and all of us will start feeling better real soon.

Hugs for her. I'm only on day 3, so I expect to feel yuck for at least a couple more. The cough is settling in today.

Good morning everyone!!!

It's a blustery Friday morning here in Sacramento, and a chaotic start in the household. Gave DS the car keys to hold yesterday and forgot to check that he put them in the key tray at home -- thus this morning, could not locate car keys. I leave at 5:45 am in my car (well, my loaner today), and the car keys he misplaced were to the Tahoe, which DH takes them to school in... so we're waiting for him to wake up to quiz him on what he did with the keys.... and if he can't remember, we're screwed because our other spare alarm doohickey doesn't work, and the Tahoe is in the driveway blocking the truck parked in the garage. DH isn't supposed to transport anyone else in his work truck but he may have to this morning....

Seems more like a Monday, doesn't it?

Mental health day. Stay home!!

I don't think DS could quite yet give a guided tour of the parks but he knows far more than your average 4 year old should know.

BTW, we never corrected him on the Epcot thing. It was just too cute that we let him believe that golf balls are in fact called Epcots.

Since DH is taking a mental health day we are going to meet for lunch. I don't get to eat lunch with my DH very often. I wonder where we should go?

Our DVD players for the cars came in yesterday. DH couldn't wait to get them out of the box. They seem fairly nice. I guess we will break them in during our trip to KC for the Renaissance Festival next weekend. It is close to a 2 hour drive.

I don't think online shopping at Christmas is the bargain that it once was years ago -- now everyone does it and the bargains are fewer and you have to hunt for them

I like the deals @ Toys R Us/Amazon when they have the BoGo on board games or toys.

She seemed to be in a pretty good mood this morning but she was still being really stubborn especially with her hair. Her nose did not seem quite as bad this morning. I really hope it is finally clearing up.

She has been a handful these last couple of days. This weekend should be interesting.

So, DS3 got a belated birthday gift in the mail today. It's a cute matching/memory game with Spiderman and Friends.
However, I realized I don't know many of Spidey's friends. And I certainly can't match their feet to their heads if I don't know what they should look like (and no, not all of them are obvious!) Did you know there's a Spider-girl/woman (I think).
