Good afternoon all!

I've been busy at work trying to catch up, only on page 1697, but though I would update everyone on the new nephew...His name is Aidan George and soooooo adorable. I picked my mother up and we went to the hospital together to see him. Paul has a nephew named Ayden also, so together, we have 2 nephew's, each named Aidan/ayden, and 2 nieces, Jordan and Audrianna!!!!!

I hope we come home from the wedding and honeymoon with some soveniers of our own ;)

Lisa, love the shirt and accessories (sp).

Too bad everyone has the late dining....were signed up for the early dining :guilty:

Confession....I am an early sleeper, usually in bed by 9:00PM. However, I think I may be staying up a lot later on the cruise....

Jodie, that sounds so nice!!!! What a wonderful honeymoon to top off a wonderful wedding!!!! I wish I could've done something like that but we just eloped. :bride:
Let's see, we did one night at the Anchor Motel (room 8 - cost $10) and then one night on my sister's couch then DrHug left for VietNam. Hmmmm. I think he got off pretty cheap! Oh, and wedding and reception was planned and carried out in 4 days. Invites were by phone, of course. We had about 30 people at our wedding and a nice reception at my Uncle and Aunt's house.

And how much do you charge, Lisa? All three of mine (ok 2.5) could really use it.

I just haven't had the motivation to do it recently.

The ecoli outbreak that is across the country. It is in bagged spinach right now. They recalled it everywhere because they didn't know where it came from. I think that they have one of the comanies now but are still looking. They are also still looking for the original case. One of the earliest is last month...a little girl. :( Until they say this is it and nothing else is affected, I'm not touching anything green & leafy.

Yikes. I didn't know this. I had E Coli poisoning once, it was terrifying!!! I really thought I was going to die. No more bagged salad for this household.

I'm all for american items..... However, after years of watching family members have issues with their F.ound O.n R.oad D.ead cars or the PoS Chevy's i've previously owned, I've become a convert. Adding to that, my Honda was assembled in the United States by americans and americans work in my dealership. Sure maybe certain componants come from overseas but that's true of ALL car manufactures now.

One thing that's great is that my Honda's have all held the value over time. (The Chevy Malibu we bought brand new was barely worth $2,500 after 5 yrs and that's for an EX with no excess mileage or wear-n-tear.) My civic was worth almost $12,000 trade-in after the three year lease we had. I would have kept it but it was almost time for tires/belts and such and i got a brand new one for same payment with no additional outlay.

I'm am super Anti-Ford. Sorry to any who may like them but I've had nothing but trouble with them. Too many times I've been broken down thanks to Ford. :sad2:

I had a lemon pontiac as well. Awful car! My last car, my 2000 Dodge Stratus wasn't as bad, but did have transmission problems after just one year and things just started falling apart... the door panel inside the drivers side would come loose for no reason. Had to replace parts on that over and over. It has been in the shop quite a few times and let me also say we are people who take care of our cars- we do the maintainance service on them- oil changes, brakes, etc, so there's just no excuse. I barely drive my cars much, mostly to shop, take kids to school, etc. So the point is we aren't rough on our vehicles.

I will never buy a car made by an American Car Company again. :sad2:

DH has a 2003 Toyota Tacoma and I just got the 2007 Camry. We're hoping these will be our last cars for a while but DH does regret that he didn't get the Tundra instead.

I didn't mean to make everyone sick. I actually caught it from DD so if you are going to be mad at someone it is her. Then again I dare anyone to try to be mad at that little face.... ;)

Jodie - Actually most of us have early dining. I don't remember the exact numbers but I thought we had 5-6 full stations in early dining and only 3 in late dining.

The E-coli thing is a little scary but for now I am just going to not each spinach. I bought some green lettuce and other produce yesterday to use for meals this week. I don't know how long it will be until they get some definite results on where the tainted spinach came from but I can't imagine not having fresh veggies until then.

Congrats on your new nephew!!!

Not everyone has late seating! There are only 53 of us in late seating 8:00. There are 82 of us so far in early seating!!! Are you interested in being seated with the group? How many are in your party? There are 18 in a serving section. We have 5 filled so far and should be located near each other. Just LMK and I can get you the info to make it happen. We are eating at 6 pm, LAP rotation.

I almost forgot that I had two funny kid moments that I had to share.

Yesterday as you all know was "Talk Like A Pirate Day". I mentioned that to DS in the car while taking him to school and the next thing I heard was a little "Aaarrrrgg" from DD! :rotfl: I guess she has been paying attention!!! :lmao:

The other was I was making dinner and DS came up to me and asked if he bought our house or if we built it. I told him we bought it when he was still in my tummy. He then paused for a second and asked "How did Daddy get it in the car?". :lmao: :lmao:

I haven't had the chance to catch up here to decide on that. I just filled the iron for the third...maybe fourth time. :( I mean :cheer2:. I am taking a quick break for a grilled cheese then will try to get another batch of ironing done before I have to go pick up the kids. The fun never stops!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! What an exciting day here!!! The bathroom downstairs has been cleaned! I scrubbed the window with a toothbrush because I realized that it was covered with hairspray spots...probably from the past 11 years!!! I have always just sprayed & wiped the window and they looked dirty from the outside. I guess that I saw it in just the right light. UGH! The second load of laundry is in the washer & the dryer is almost done. I have torn the family room apart. I even cleaned the tissues that wound up in the wheels of the computer chair somehow. UGH! UGH! UGH! The anticipation is building for the ironing pile...can you feel it? :lmao: I guess that I shouldn't put it off any longer. I can catch up on a couple soaps while I labor. See you....some time before the cruise.....

You coming over to my house next Lisa? Ever since DH and I both started working full time again, my house is an absolute disaster area. I'm waiting for his first few commission checks to gauge whether or not we can afford a little weekly housekeeping service.

I told DH when I go back to work in January I really want a housekeeper...even 2 times a month!
