I think you have a nice ticker too. But if I wanted to use it, I would have to go back and figure out how to add it. I stilllll have never sent my pic to Lisa becouse uplaoding them takes sooooooooooooooooo long with dial up. Then I have to figure out how to add wyatt with spencer pic too.

I don't know what is wrong with me. I can't get date or times right this week! Here I was, enjoying a few minutes before I had to go to piano at 4:30. WRONG!! It was 3:30 for DD8 and 4:00 for DD12!!

Today (oops well yesterday now) I thought it was already Friday for the first 4 hours of the day.

On top of all of that DH talks to his Mom today and my MIL is talking about going on a cruise!

Today DD came home with a slip re iceskating class in Oct on Sunday. She was so excited. Well I mentioned I thought CCD class starts in October. We discussed it a bit and she wasn't thrilled. Well I heard her this evening saying to DH "Dad, I have a BIG problem. I really really want to take skating lessons but Mumma mentioned a something something D class - I can't recall the letter but she said I needed to go in October. Dad! I have a real problem Dad."

DH didn't know what the heck she was talking about but I was chuckling.

Exhausted. I'm caught up. I did go to the Apple store this week. They had the iPod nanos but no new iPod shuffles or iPod's yet.

I still want a MacBook. I mean that's being greedy - yes I know that - but I still want one. The iBook I am using is perfectly usable despite the CD player not working which is a bummer. Either thn that no exuse - see what I mean bummer (sounding like the petulant brat).

I spent yesterday trying to catch up to all the posts I missed on 2 days vacation. ugh so many.

True. And I felt like it was really rushed at the end. I think everyone was pretty much disappointed with who was in the final two so there wasn't a whole lot of excitement.

oh- and it was soooo painfully obvious - erika and mike didn't even hug at the end!! Erika was pretty much overlooked by everyone - so sad!

I just came from my first ever PTA meeting - I feel so weird. Is this what the rest of the world does? and nothing significant happened at all and we were out of there in less than an hour.

when we go, nothing significant happens and we are there AT Least an Hour!!

yup!! I think there are lots of us out there who can relate. For our PTA...seemed like lots of parents who wanted to stick their nose into the school to complain and give their opinion. When it came down to getting volunteers or help, ZIP! Somehow, probably b/c I care about the kids and the teachers, I've remained a loyal, stresssed out and very busy PTA member. In fact, we're putting on a big celebration this weekend for seveal hundred guests as our principal celebrates her 20th anniversary as principal. There are 2 of us coordinating the whole event. I will be spending every waking moment baking goodies tomorrow b/c no other parent seems to have the time to help. Okay - don't want to start the morning off in a negative way. So let me end by saying - STICK WITH IT!!! Your family and your children and your school will benefit from a caring attitude. Hugs!
