Get our your calendars everyone!!!

I took the stats I built yesterday and used them predict the approximate date for the really big milestones. Of course these are just estimates but they are based on hard numbers. I will give myself a margain of error of +-3 days.

30,000 on Friday, October 6th
40,000 on Wednesday, November 8th

The calculated date for 50,000 is on Monday, December 11th but since I know we all have something scheduled that day I won't make it an official date! I do think we will post even more feverishly between packing and traveling to hit that 50,000 before we set sail so even though the stats say 12/11 I will make a prediction of Wednesday, December 6th.

You have been given ample time to prepare that TIVO (or VCR for those in Canada), hire a babysitter and clear your schedule of all unnecessary meetings, appointments, chores, etc.. Consider yourselves officially invited to the parties!!!!

hubby is really the type A personality, not me.

anyway, I just paged thru several Oriental Trading type catalogs and got several ideas that I think will work. I really based it on how easy it would be to transport - there are some cute but heavy things if you are talking buying 75 of them.

I chose the greatest common denominator (is this correct Becka ?) - probaby won't appeal to the teen crowd but they might enjoy sharing it with someone else and I bought some dufferent things for the under 2 crowd who might still be eating their presents.

I plan on walking around and just dropping them in the stockings because I will just ship them ahead I think. This way we can wrap them at home then ship them.

I got some small bubbles to bring, but I will hand them out at the port. I bought 3 boxes of 24 I think. Not sure about taking them on the plane now thoe. I'll check them and if they make it great.

Lisa- I got the email about getting moved to main dining and that you are working on seating places. Are you taking requests? If so I would like to sit by some normal people at dinner for once. Please don't make me sit by my DH and kids. Put them as far away as you can. Just kidding. Thanks for that. I should log on and see if we have a room number yet. Mum

Here's a question for you repeat 7-day cruisers.....

Has anyone ever brought say two cases of water with them, do you just give it to the porters when you get there (labeled with room # of course) and does it count towards your checked luggage?

I am big on drinking water and filtered just tastes off sometimes. (i'm not big on being limited to fountain drinks all week either.)
If i'm drinking then DD and DH drink it too so i thinking one case won't be enough for the week.

7 days on bottled water.?... you're kidding right?

Okay - just jumping in here on page 1442 ! I think my only other post here was on page 2. Anyway - We've downsized our group. No BIL, SIL, DN or DN (who accompanied us on our 2004 Wonder cruise). Just me , DH , DS6 and DS2 . And..... DH upgraded us, so we'll have a verandah again. Whew! Gotta love him! We're so excited, talking about the trip every day, I'm making lists, spreadsheets, etc. We'll be staying at Coronado Springs Thursday and Friday night. Going to MVMCP on Thursday and Sea World on Friday.

Well, since I seem to be alone, I guess I will try to grab a sandwich and get ready to go to the game.

DS is on his way home from Youngstown to go to the game with me. Amy is giving me a night out with DS since she is going to go on her merry golf outing this weekend.

Oh, and we do have the Browns home opener this weekend too . . .

DS and I are supposed to go to that . . .

Forgot to ask Amy when she will be home on Sunday . . . we may need a babysitter for Sophia.

Oh, and DU does have us listed there as PIF - I'm not going to sweat it. If it is screwed up, so be it - it's not like we won't be allowed on the ship or anything.
