He then proceeded to act like he needed help with a Chemistry test and he was a Chemistry major (I was at the time too!). I must have just felt sorry for him to fall for all of that, huh? ;)

Here is a smilie for all of you who won't be able to sleep tonight! ;)

I once did this in my parent's freezer. I stuck my tongue on a metal piece to see what would happen.

I probably should have explained this when I posted. This is how DH met me. He ran me over with his bike while I was walking around on campus. True Story!!! :)

Now THAT is a story! :thumbsup2

I got a call from my mom this evening. She said my sister was at her house, had been stung by a wasp on Sunday behind the knee- or maybe a spider bit her :confused3 - now she has a big hard knot behind her knee, it is red, very hot and there are red streaks running up from it. SO, they thought they should call and see if I had any ideas what she should do. :sad2: OY! They live 2 1/2 hours away! So, I asked my sister if she called me just because I take complaints at a medical center??? :confused3 YEP, I might know what to do. :lmao: So, gave my best medical advise and told her to go to urgent care. :rolleyes1 She was hesitant, but I reminded her she is going to Reno this weekend and it would be WAY better to go to urgent care now at home, than to spend her weekend at the emergency room on her weekend trip. :sad2: She is going in! :rotfl:

See, we all have those family members! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

No, you just recognized a diamond in the rough! :thumbsup2

please don't laugh at this question, but DH wants to know how small the stateroom is compared to our others. I looked online and it says it is 614 square feet. Is that including the verandah or just the room. Also, when you open up all the doors and the verandah doors does it feel less "claustrophobic"?

Thanks!

Kim

We were those kids from the 50's that did that on the fire escape behind the school!

Sounds like a spider bite. With the red lines she needs to get to the doctor. Hope she goes tonight.

Need to get to bed too . . .

Good night all . . .

DH said it sounds like a brown recluse bite. She needs to see a doctor soon just in case.

Not sure how big your others were. We did visit V and John2 in their Cat 3 last year and there was LOTS of room, compared to our cat 11 anyway.

Well I had better get to bed soon and DH wants to computer now that he is feeling better. ;)

I hope tomorrow is better for all of us! :)

That is with the veranda, Kim. Have you looked at the pictures on the virtual stateroom tour? They are in the FAQ thread. :)

Kim,

V was in a cat3 last cruise - that's the one with the picture of a bunch of us in there for the wine and cheese. Since I do not know what your others were like - hard to compare - but I found it very LARGE.

The other thing is - maybe you will spend more time in yours, but we do not spend too much time in our room anyway. I used to get a cat4 - now we regularly book 8's, and next cruise it is a 10 (although it is a SPH 10).

I'm not claustrophobic in an 8 - but then again, I am the guy who fell blissfully asleep in the MRI tube at the hospital.

She said "when will I have time to go in?" I said, "well, how about NOW?" She laughed and said, oh, ok. So I am sure she is going in tonight. I will call my mom in a few just to be sure. :sad2: I think they were actually hoping DrHug would be here. If he tells them go in they jump and do it right away!

IDK how true it is but when I was younger a neighbor had a spider bite. When she finally went to the doctor they told her that if the red line reached her heart, that would have been it. Might have something to do with the venom???
