My dad actually bought a bus one time and wanted to convert it into some kind of camper for trips. We could have been like the Partridge Family! Only thing I remember about the bus is that it had a wasps nest in it when I went to see it! I wonder what actually happened to it as he never did convert it.

So, he's the FL resident and you get the suite at Fl discount rates and he gets the Cat 11?? V will probably know if they discount those. Sounds like a plan to me.

I was thinking of putting his phone bill or something in my name as proof of residency, but I think you need a driver's lisence to get the discount? I can think sneaky... ..but I can never go through with being sneaky.

I don't know how my mom had survived! My dad has a LOUD mouth and likes to yell, er, speak before he thinks. But mom goes on little trips with her friends all the time because my dad never wants to go. They did go on an Alaska cruise. My dad has always wanted us ALL to go and live there. NOT!!

My dad and siblings are all very into Alaska too. They keep saying we should do an Alaska cruise - my DS and DBIL did one and so did DrHugs DS and DBIL - We keep saying we LIKE the tropics, we have walked on glaciers in Montana, had a moose run through our camp in Yellowstone, seen bear and elk. Had enough been there done that, HOWEVER we do tell them that if Disney takes their ships there sometime we would do that. They just

I wonder if I should fax a request NOW for 2009?! My thoughts on suites are this. I bet you could book 2 people in a suite, then four in a 12, but all stay in the suite and it would be cheaper. Whaddya think? I asked a CM about this one time and she was like, I bet it would!!

And they tried to get my CC for the second support call, that wasn't happening and they finally figured out the problem. And I never gave my CC, the aiport express is less then 3 months old.

I have a nephew who lived in FL for several years and when they moved back to Washington State he kept a PO Box there, kept his DL (don't know how he did not have to turn it in when he got his WA liscense) so he could be FL resident for Disney purposes. One nephew out of all this big family actually understands our addiction!

One nephew out of all this big family actually understands our addiction!

But I would guess that would only last until his FL DL expired.

I don't know what to do with myself. My best friend is leaving for Calif. tomorrow and I just want to cry. I think it was harder to have her here all summer than if they had just moved straight to CA from MA.

We are still booked for the transition. We have until Feb to decide for sure. We are leaning towards canceling. The airfare back home is as much as the cruise! Then there is lots of talk on the boards about luggage weight restrictions being so much less in Europe, etc, etc. It is just becoming very stressful for me so we are keeping canceling as an option. I am finding that Europe is out of my comfort zone. We will wait until after this cruise to decide though, might be better if I am not thinking about 2 at the same time.

She is coming in the morning for goodbyes. DDs will be so sad. I really won't have anyone around anymore since me and my other BF are on the outs.

We are booked for the reposition back. I think it is just a dream though.....I make big plans. I told DH that I will fly to Egypt ( I loathe flying!!) if I can take DCL back. I have always looked into cruising over, but they leave to early and come back to late in the season for it to be possible. This one is perfect! It would be Egypt for about 6 weeks, travel through Europe for two, them the cruise back for two! He thinks I am crazy wanting to be on a boat for 2 weeks.

Gosh, all those sea days was what sounded so great to me! Maybe we will win the Powerball and then just take it over, stay on board for all the cruises and bring it home! No worries about luggage requirement then!
