I think there are about 20 of us linked for late dining so far. We are the fun, or were we cool??, kids.

Elaine, you will have a good time no matter what dining you have. We did not have a bad time when we did the early seating, it just didn't work as well for us. We felt "rushed" to get to dinner. Now we do dress for dinner before the show, so we still need to be ready for dinner early but it just doesn't feel as rushed for us. I think the first night was the worst because we had 5:30 dinner and the ship was delayed leaving the port so we had to leave deck 10 and go dress before we got out of the channel. We LOVE sailaway and love to stay on deck 10 until we get out to sea. Just a quirk with us.

ughhh....DD is making me so mad....it's applying the code to a size 2PJ Pal but not the 4 and to 2 pirate t shirts but nothing else?? What am I doing wrong?

That 10% code has lots of restrictions. I tried to use it a few days ago and it would not apply to most of the things I wanted.

I think we will stick with early dining but that thread scared me for a few minutes. Everyone was singing the praises of late dining. Eating that late would not bother me but DD would for sure fall asleep. Then I started thinking that maybe I want her asleep during dinner in the stroller so DH and I can actually eat in peace!

She was on the Wonder so I would imagine she is also on the Magic.

In fact DS was running and we told him to stop and slow down. The next thing we know there is Mulan who then leans down and tells DS that he should listen to his parents while totally in character. It was pretty funny!

LOL - I always say that the only reason that hubby and I have been together so long is because he is warm at night when I am freezing and I am warm in the morning when he is freezing. Also, he's the night owl and I am the early bird - it worked great for late night feedings.

I always call Disney shopping when I have trouble with codes - and order on the phone. I can't stand getting beat by those coupon codes.

Why do they time you out of your shopping bag - is there a way to hold it? That is why I love shopping gymboree online - they hold your shopping bag until the stuff goes on sale and never delete it.

I am going to go back and catch up, but I wanted to post the shore excursions information.

Today I spoke with Malina, a supervisor at shore excursions. She had previously fixed my "only DH and DD can go problem". When shore exursions did not call me back, I called her and reminded her that I really wanted to go on the Fury Catameran. She said she would check with a supervisor to see if they get me in. They did, but when I checked, the excursion left at 12:40 p.m. I think this is rather late and I am hoping there is an earlier version. anyway.... I said, I belong to a rather large website of people going on this same cruise, can I tell them they can go? She said no, they cannot guarantee anything. So I don't know what is going on here, but if you really want to go, call them. If I can't get an earlier time, we will probably cancel ours if anyone needs it.


Also, a funny today. My TA sent e-mail and called to let me know I could book my stuff now... no, really?

I have a request...seems kinda strange to post after I've been posting these other posts, but....I wasn't sure if it was okay to ask and just now decided that I should...

Can you guys keep my father and mother in your prayers? My DM called me and said my father was taken to the hospital...looks like he broke his hip. My father is 63, but suffering terribly with cancer and I bet his body is just really getting weak. Anyway - my mom threw her back out and can't move. So I have 2 parents out of commission. My dad has to have surgery and the ambulance took him to Tampa general. My mom is home alone at the house...hopefully able to move enough to make some food. I wish I could fly down but I just can't get away with the kids, school and work. My heart breaks and some prayers from a kind bunch like you all would really help. THANKS!! I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

okay - I'm out of here...I need to go run some errands and pick up the kids....and oh yeah - they just issued a tornado watch for our area for the next 4 hours .... little football players on a big open field with a tornado watch. hmmm...... are they psycho coaches or what?!!!

Karen - - I hope this helps. I have already said a prayer for your family. I will send more prayers tonight. I feel for you. I can't believe your boys have Fball tonight. It is raining cats and dogs here!!!! We are also under the tornado watch...but I think that has expired by now. I hope everything is okay at your house.

Congrats on 17,500 Brandi! Less than 2,500 until 20,000!

I guess DH and I will just do brunch by ourselves. It might even be a little romantic especially after I drink 2 mimosas (mine and DH's since he does not drink). I had better make sure those Flounders reservations are long enough just in case DH and I start to reminisce (did I spell that right?) fondly about pricing clothes for the yard sale.

It sounds like you have one heck of a good plan! I told DH that we need to schedule some flounders/club time to do a little pricing of our own!!!!

I am less worried about being flamed than upsetting Kim (since she is staying there) . . . but here goes anyway . . .

We have only stayed at the GF ONE time. I really wanted to stay there because I always thought that the hotel was so beautiful. Well, I must say we hated our stay there. The whole time, I felt like some kind of second class citizen. We may or may not make more income than the people who stay there - I don't know, but most of the people I ran into you would think are as wealthy as Donald Trump.

I'm the friendly, talkative type - at the pools, around the resort, etc.. NOT there! I always had that feeling that Brandi is talking about here. I also kept getting the feeling that I was in some kind of "Stepford Wives" run amok, as EVERYONE dressed and acted alike - men and women!

We did have a meal at 1900 this last time, and that was fine, but I never think I could feel like I belong at that place.

Sorry Kim . . . I've been waiting to get that off my chest for awhile, and Brandi opened the door.

I am glad I could open the door for you to get that load off of your chest! The stepford wives comment was funny...that is what it was like being there!!! I am also talkative (can you imagine ) and I felt the same exact way!
