Nothing is packed. What is it with Le Cellier this year suddenly it is the most popular?? What a bummer nothing available. This is how it was in May and March. I have tentatively booked Hollywood & Vine only because of the characters. DD loves Little Einsteins and used to love Jojo when she was younger. I've never been a big fan of MGM Studios dining but I can't recall the last time I ate here and now it's a buffet? Any recent experiences. I have too many buffets on this trip. We try to eat in new places or ones we haven't eaten in a while but I'm stumped this trip. We've never eaten at Ohana for dinner and that is also on the list. I didn't even write the name of one restaurant down just the PS# - oops ADR - it's hard to switch names all of the time. Although ADR as a name I guess makes more sense.

Bella, H&V is OK, but we have not been there since they started the Character meals. The food was OK, but nothing to write home about. I KWYM about MGM dining . . . we did have a good meal at Mama Melrose's once, but that was several years ago . . . Pizza Planet is Pizaa He__, and Brown Derby is just too expensive.

As for Le Celier, I think with the Dining plan, and the fact that it only counts as one TS Meal, it has become even more popular. It is by far the best meal we had last trip down. We made reservations for there the day we return from the cruise . . . the 16th.

Gotta love the pretzel bread! Yum!

I dined in the Brown Derby on mother's day. It was wonderful - if you have free dining now it is worth the 2 credits.

We also get a kick out of Sci Fi - the food is nothing special but my twins love eating in their own booth in the car and watching the campy flicks.

If you are going to Fantasmic - H&V is the closest restaurant you don't have to sprint across the park to make the show.

Ok, must be that Cafe Mocha from Starbucks as we were driving out of Sandusky after leaving Cedar Point, but I've got to get to bed! I can't handle caffeine, and that was a one-time treat for the drive home. It's been a long and drenched day.

Good Night all!

I have to agree with John here on H&V...of course our families did go together last year. :) DS wouldn't even touch the nuggets. They weren't the nice chicken strips that you can get elsewhere. They looked more like overcooked tyson nuggets. The rest of us found enough to eat. I thought that Crystal Palace's buffet was nicer.

I'm not a big fan of Ohana's - its crazy at dinner with all the coconut races etc. They let the kids pull those brooms out of a deep basket and I swear someone is going to lose an eye because they don't look behind them just pull them out and back. I almost had a heart attack and got my kids out of there right away.

The food is nothing special either. It's fun to be at the Poly in time for the fireworks. Ohana's with Lilo and Stitch is more fun.

Thanks for sharing the story Mickey. You truly are a wonderful son and I am glad to hear that your parents made their way through it. I wish we could hear more stories like this. Actually, I wish we could hear that everyone affected has a more normal life after a year!

John and Amy - sorry to hear that you got rained out. At least the girls had a great time and you were able to make the most of it.

JORDAN!!! Have you looked into getting your onboard discount reinstated??? :)

As far as BB is concerned, I do think that Will is an excellent player - he did win before so he should be! ;) I wanted to see James at least get farther, but now I am rooting for Dani. I do have a soft spot for those who have children. :goodvibes This week is make it break it for all. Erica HAS to put up CT if the POV gets used. I am hoping Dani wins it so that Erica is forced to. If not, CT gets to vote who thet want with only 3 voting. Plus it will almost make it impossible for them to lose.

I have a confession. I do not have a crock pot. I slow cook everything in a dutch oven and that seems to work. I actually looked to see if I had one yesterday. No luck.

Kim

I must confess too Kim. I have neither a crock pot nor a dutch oven!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

The Crystal Palace is our favorite - although we do like 1900 Park Fare's offerings. Thank you both for your feedback on H&V. That is what I was afraid of re the food. So, do I want to pay buffet prices to see Little Einsteins or can we just ask a CM to tell us where they might be in the park that day. So I'll revisit that one.

Is it similar to the pony rides at Whispering Canyon at WL? I picked it since we are staying at the Polynesian and we've never eaten dinner. We typically only do breakfast the last morning of our stay however our flight is at 10A so no time.

I'm busy reading about all the planned activities. Now I have to compare to what I booked today. I hope I don't have a conflict for the Wendy tea.
