Just wanted to say welcome to the new famileys. Dh is out on a disney money. Oh sorry I mean fire call. Someone is buring in a burn barrel. cha ching. Really it sucks, as the boys are off at a friends for the night and we had dinner out and were soposed to go to the movie, but not now. So here I sit, reading the thread about child support and all the bickering that is going on there.

HAH! That's exactly what I think, when my DH walks out the door for work every morning... Ahhhh just part of my master plan to go on a Disney Cruise every year

I know it is a little early to start planning on what to take on the plane with you but........We are flying in from Indianapolis on Saturday and taking the Disney transport to the port. My problem is that I want to take bottled water and bottles of caffeine free diet pepsi. We also have to carry a neubulizer for my son and myself, we are both asthmatics, of course we have the camera bag, a carry on with clothes & swimsuits in case all the luggage gets lost, a laptop to download pictures off the camera memory card. I don't see how we can carry on drinks. I know with all the changes right now it is a mute point but I am hoping things are back to normal by the time we fly. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

I have similar issues. I will let you know how it goes on my flight to NYC monday....

Hi to everyone new..

I love the fair! DD spent 45 minutes in the petting zoo with babby kittens, puppys, rabbits, foals... it was so cute! Then she rode go carts, climbed the rock wall, and rode the roller coaster.


I FINALLY GOT MY PACKET! I have to say it was less than I expected, plus, and can anyone help me here, there are more excursions on the web site than in the packet. Thoughts?

DD wants me to take her american girl doll to NYC and have her hair done... should I?

Are you all chatting, although it is 3 a.m. on the east coast...

I can't imagine why anyone would take these things if you didn't have to.

On more help... DD saw the princess make up on the gift thing and had a total begging meltdown. I would rather have Shirley do a whole birthday thing with princess stuff/makeup etc... and the sand toys. Does anyone have experience with her, can she make me the ultimate princess pack with a sand shovel?

I know what you mean . . . I sometimes have to take them when I get severe bronchitis to avoid pneumonia . . . don't feel any pressure to join right now, join when you are all pumped up with the 'roids, and then you can jump into the lead the next week!

Well, guess I'm all by myself . . . and don't feel like talking to myself too much this morning - too many posts to the next milestone, and too much work to do.

We are having the current and recently retired Superintendents of our school district over for a cookout tomorrow, and guess who gets to get the place "ship shape" while Amy is at work . . .

When I went in to be last night after chat, Amy asked "what time is it?" - when I told her, she was ! But she got a good night's rest now.

Congratulations on the Bingo PJ - I could NEVER play Bingo - or any other type of gambling for that matter - I HATE to lose!

Glad that you had a great time at the fair. I am slow to get moving this morning. The hungover feeling is starting to go away. DD is the one who needs something. She insists on jumping off of the arm of the couch so that she can fly on her magic carpet. OY BOY! This kid just isn't listening and I am tired of yelling. DH & DS went somewhere. When they get back, she is being held captive in time out. I don't want to end up hurting both of us by trying to do that right now. That's all I need. LOL! The TF almost forgot to do her job last night...but got up & took care of it.

New pictures were just loaded as well. I have moved the kid's pages aroung a little bit. There are so many...to make it easier for them I put the names by age. I can't believe there are so many 6 yo girls in the group...not a single boy. I guess that the princesses will rule the club.

Good Morning Everyone!

Well I got up about an hour and a half earlier and I resisted checking the boards and got right to work. A co-worker is coming by to buy the full bed we have in DD's room so I went in there and cleaned out the rest of her room that I did not finish a few weeks ago. Now that our guest bed is out of there I can move in her toy box and all kind of other "stuff" that has been living in our living room. Also since we have it all cleaned out and none of our storage stuff is still in there it will be a room the kids can actually play in with minimal supervision. I can't believe she is 18 months old and we just now are finally finishing the conversion for guest/storage room to DD's room. The poor girl....

Plus I just got done picking up and vacuuming the living room so later today we can get all this stuff put in her room. I am tired already so I had to take a break and check in!

I still have lots of stuff to go through and price for our garage sale but first I will have to send DH out on some errands to pick up the stuff we need. I think he and DS are going to the library around DD's naptime so they can run the garage sale errands then.

How much did you guys price your big baby stuff? I don't want to price too high but I don't want to give it away either. How is about 20-25% of what we paid new? Too high? That would make the big stroller around $20, the bouncy seat around $10, the exersaucer around $20, the swing around $25, etc..

Those sound good for prices, Becca! Sounds like you have gotten alot done today. YEAH!!! I just finished cleaning the upstairs bathrooms. One more to go down here. I thought that I was finished with the lightheadedness ealier...until I got up & tried to walk across the room. WHOA!!!! It is gone now but DD didn't quite know what to think about mommy at the time.

Good morning! Here I am, avoiding work

Have to finish the taxes today (yes, late filing!), wash and clean out my car, get the house ready for next weekend (our 10th anniversary party), go to Costco to order party platters for said party..... some days, I wonder if I'll ever scrap again...

On the plus side, it's not going to be hot this weekend! Wooo! It's about 68 degrees here in my bedroom and very comfortable right now. We had a whole house fan installed a few weeks ago and I LOVE it.

Okay, those are my random thoughts for the day. Have a fantabulous weekend everyone. I'll try to check in later!

Hi Everyone - We have just booked this cruise. I decided just to throw caution to the wind and pull the kids out of school for a week. Also got a great rate (compared to DCL online) through DU.

Wow! It sure looks like I have missed a lot! I work with Kristina (Goofyforlife) and she told me you all are a nice group. Sounds like a lot of fun! I'll send my info to lbgraves for the website.
