Oh Becka, that really, really hurts. :sad2: :confused3

My boss forwarded a website to me that has lots of info and photos of Club 33. :confused3 Doesn't she know she is feeding my addiction. :surfweb:

Well no offense to the men of our group but I do believe that none of them look like Patrick Dempsey! :lmao:

Can someone fill me in on Big Brother - what is the deal with George and the slop?? I missed several of the first shows - did he lose a competition early on dealing with slop?
and also, Danielle was in seclusion or something?
I looked at the episode descriptions, but couldn't tell which episode these thinkgs were in.
thanks for the info!!

During the POV ceremony when George was put up by James, George and Kaysar were in a tie breaker situation and the tie breaker question was how many of the 60 days left in the house will you be willing to eat slop? Kaysar chose 15 days. George wrote down 60 and won the veto. So now he's stuck on slop for the rest of his stay in the house.

Karen – One of my favorite crock pot recipes is for pot roast. I know this is an unsolicited recipe but if you are like me you always need more and even if you don’t like it someone else might.

pot roast
Potatoes, Carrots, Onions (whatever veggies you like)
1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix
1 pkg. Au Jus gravy mix
1 can tomato juice

Put the roast and veggies in the crock pot. Pour the Italian dressing and au jus gravy mixes over the roast. Pour the tomato juice on top. Cook on low 8-10 hours.

This is so tender and it really could not be an easier!

That recipe sounds delicious. I'll have to try it. Today I threw some chicken breasts in the crockpot with sweet and sour sauce. I usually use BBQ sauce, but DH said I should try the sweet and sour. I hope it turns out ok.

I've just discovered those new "slow cooker liners" by reynold's wrap. They work so nicely, place them in the crockpot, put in the food and afterward just throw out the bag, no icky mess to scrub out!

You could do both, we could grab a chat room and go from there, lol.

That's almost the same pot roast recipe I use - I just use Lipton Onion Soup Mix in it. I love pot roast!!

This is how I usually make it. Just a packet of Onion Soup. Very yummy!

Look at my ticker, double digits, woo hoo! I was over 700 days when this all started!

I want to do the whole slow cooker thing, so I need an easy 1st timer kind of meal. What do I add to the packet of onion soup, water? We have a slow cooker my mom got in the 70's, should I test it or just go get a new one, I mean it is harvest brown, lol.

I love spas. But that being said - I only go to my massage therapist for massages.....there is this comfort thing that I can trust her...but like someone else said...I too always wear my underwear. I guess I just don't need to take them off to be totally relaxed. Never saw the need.

And whoever talked about being claustrophobic in a wrap....it is claustrophobic and kinda gross....for that one, you wear this paper undie thingee....and they have to slather stuff on you and then they wrap you and then unwrap you and then shower you off....and you're supposed to be relaxed by all this?!!!! NOPE!!! Not for me.

I would freak out being wrapped up like that. Much less having someone rinse it all off me. No thanks!

Oh Karen, I am with you on this one babe! Worst $200 I ever spent. I have never felt fatter or more stressed out in a spa in my life! Those netty paper panties were the WORST!

You mentioned that you can keep your panties on for a massage but the real important question we need answered is.....Can you wear your Spanx?

:lmao:

I just felt it had been too long since we had a proper Spanx joke! :rotfl:

I have a confession. I do not have a crock pot. I slow cook everything in a dutch oven and that seems to work. I actually looked to see if I had one yesterday. No luck.

I just sprinkle the packet on top of the roast and I'll pour in just a little bit of water in the bottom so the roast doesn't stick, probably less than 1/4 cup. The trick is not to lift the lid while it's cooking otherwise a lot of the heat escapes and can dry out the meat.

They now have Slow cooker liners (buy them in the section where you get plastic wrap), I love them! No mess afterwards, you just throw away the bag!

If your mom's slow cooker still works may as well use it, but I think you can pick up a new crockpot for about $20? Not sure though, it's been a good 15 years since I've bought mine so I haven't priced them lately.

I am going to Bunko tonight so I will talk with you all later later....

Becka, the wrap was supposed to REPLACE spanx. I was supposed to loose inches.... NOT!

Kim

LOL... One treatment that sounds too good to be true is the cellulite reduction one. Now if I really believed it would break up all my cellulite and help me lose inches I'd happily fork over the cash, but I really don't believe it. :lmao:

my pot roast....I usually line the bottom of the crockpot with potatoes, carrots then the roast....sprinkle the onion soup packet on, throw in onions and then a can of cream of mushroom soup....delish!

I brought work home tonight..no fun. Auditors....seem to make life miserable!

DH and the girls are watching Charlotte's Web, bbq chicken in the oven and I am trying to work!! Fun!
