Isn't there a Virgo Alliance, no turning on each other until all the others are gone?

Trying to catch up with you guys at night is like trying to catch a Porsche on a :moped:

:surfweb:

I can't stay up any longer, and I'm only on page 710!

I have read as fast as I can, but it's no use.

Have fun guys, but put one of the girls in coconuts tonight instead of any more giant dancing bananas!

John

DRAT!!! Someone just bid up the zigglergers. :( I should have grabbed the set at $40 the other day. :(

Yes, but as far as I know, that last fight can get pretty intense... BTW anyone know what John and Amy's signs are?

C, how long did you still try to push your glasses up your nose, me, two months, lol.Pj
LOL! Actually I kept thinking I needed to remember to take out my contacts. I also wouldn't get rid of my glasses. Of course it didn't process that my vision had dramatically changed and I couldn't wear them anyway. One year later and on occasion I do wake up look over at the clock close one eye -- look, close the other -- look and think "Yup it still works"

Mine are still on backorder, but I got them for $5.99

I could have gotten the entire 24 piece set for 40. :( This one went for 61.07.

I thankfully didn't have back labor I just had labors that would not progress.

With DS I actually was admitted to the hospital 6 days before I had him because I developed pre-eclampsia. They admitted me for total bed rest and they were planning on inducing me on the 17th (a Friday) when I hit 37 weeks. Well Monday night I was feeling pretty good. DH has been visiting with me and went home and I went to sleep. About 10:30 I woke up and thought I had peed all over my bed. I got up to go to the bathroom and I was really confused because I couldn't figure out why I couldn't stop peeing! :lmao: (See my brain cells were already gone by then). It finally dawned on me a few minutes later so I call DH (who had just climbed into bed) to get to the hospital because I think my water broke.

I was just shaking with excitement and fear and I called the nurse to tell them. They got me moved over to L&D and hooked me up the monitors and the stupid blood pressure cuff that went off like every 3 minutes and would cut off the circulation to my arm. I labored all night and by 7 the next morning my doctor said that I was not even at 1 cm and she thought we might need the pitocin! They stated the pitocin by 8 and at noon when my OB checked on me I was as 1 but that was it after 4 HOURS of pitocin and contractions that NEVER let up. The whole time that stupid blood pressure kept going off in the middle of contractions and they would not let me up to walk around or move at all because of the pre-eclampsia and they wanted me monitored constantly. I had been too nervous to sleep the previous night and I was exhausted, hungry and just generally getting pretty PO'd. When my OB came back around 5 she said I might be 2 cm! You have to be kidding me right? She suggested a c-section but the c-section room was being used so it would be about another hour. They started prepping me and getting me ready and then I don't really remember much. DS heart rate dropped and so did mine and all of the sudden people were moving real fast. The next thing I knew I was in an OR and they were delivering DS. DH said he had never been that scared in his whole life. After the c-section I got the glorious morphine but because of the pre-eclampsia they also gave me the mag sulfate and that stuff has some serious side effects and even now I can't remember much from the first 24 hours after I had DS.

I do remember waking up after the c-section and asking where Nathan was. They told me he was in the NICU just for observation but they couldn't bring me to him and in my condition I could not go see him. I was so upset and I was just crying because they would not let me see him. DH and a very kind nurse finally convinced the bozos at the hospital to at least let me hold him for a few minutes so about 6 hours later was the first time I could hold him and that was just for 5 minutes or so. Since he had been born early they wanted him evaluated by some doctor even though he was fine but that doctor would not be in until the morning so that is why they said I could have him. The whole think seemed like a nightmare.

I actually got pregnant again (see lack of functioning brain cells again) with DD and I was so nervous about my blood pressure. I was sure I was headed for the same problem again. Thankfully that pregnancy was much healthier. However I had serious contractions about 5 minutes apart for 3 WEEKS before I had her. I would go to L&D and they would register the contractions but I would not dilate or efface or anything. It was so frustrating! I think I walked 50 miles in my house trying to get labor started everyday. When I went in for my c-section my contractions were still registering really strong on the monitor but still nothing. My OB said that it was a good think we had the section scheduled because otherwise DD might never get here.

John is a gemini. Anyone know what that means?

Kim
Chatty Gemini is your star sign, which tells us that the Sun awakened the dual sign of the Twins in the Zodiac on your birthday. The third sign of the zodiac, Gemini, a masculine sign, is ruled by the quick and lively planet Mercury, the messenger of the gods. A mutable (fluid and changeable) sign, Gemini governs communications, intellectual matters, and gossip! It is an air sign, which means Gemini people are ingenious, quick-witted communicators, although you are often restless, easily bored and can become frustrated by things moving too slowly.

The Sun, ruler of our inner nature, is bright in Gemini. It favours writing, other forms of communication, and travel (although beware of running around in circles just for the sake of it, or because others have imposed on your good nature). Geminians are great talkers and are usually very much in demand socially, because you are so entertaining. You'd make a great talk-show host. Gemini is the life of the party.

I still have my last pair of glasses, was going to throw them in the ocean, forgot to bring them in May 2002. And after 6 years I still do the one eye check, lol.
