Some of the best times we've had on vacation were the times we took wrong turns and found ourselves at some neat place to check out. I love adventures like that.

Todd, DH has much the same mind set. He loves to get off the beaten track. Actually, when I was just in Bermuda with my mom and sister, we took a private our. Although we did see some of the common sights, the driver took us to some of his favorite spots and to a little ice cream shop where the locals go for homemade ice cream. We hardly saw any of the thousands of tourists there all day.

My ideal vacation would be to travel the country with only a few stops in mind and no specific way to get there.

So DH was standing over my shoulder this AM at home while I was reading the boards. I had to explain the banana thing and all he said was, "On the Dis boards?!!!!!" I think he thinks this is a quiet wholesome family place.

I feel so stressed out about my son. He was fine all day then tonight he had a bit of a fever (around 100) so I gave him some motrin at 5:00. Then at bedtime it was about 101 but I put him in bed. I went back at 10:00 to check on him and he was on fire. I took his temp again and it was almost 105!!!! I freaked out! I got cool rags ( which he liked...but I felt it wasn't doing enough) so I got him out of bed and stuck him in a luke warm bath. When he started to shiver I knew it started to drop. I gave him some more med and put him back to bed in his underware only. His temp dropped to almost 103. I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight. High temps really worry me. He has no other symptoms and he keeps saying nothing hurts. Two of my nieces had this on Mon and Tue...24 hrs with a fever then nothing. I know I will be in there all night. I will be keeping my self company with the dis!

Yes PJ. Remember what we did to Lisa till she learned that doctors orders of R&R did not be Re-do the kids rooms and Re-do the house decorating.

Morning all! DH says a big thanks to the DIS "people"....

You guys were up mighty late.....I just can't keep up!

I tried reading more of my Passporter last night but I just keep getting more and more anxious for December to get here!!

So this morning as we are heading to school....I reminded Samantha about daddy's birthday and she said well where is it? Considering her's is always at Disney I think she is under the impression your birthday has to "be" somewhere. I told her it's a home...."poor dad", very unenthusiastically came out of her mouth.

Well gotta do some sort of work today - it is closing around here!
