My DH has always wanted to take a trip out to Vegas. He doesn't gamble, but it's something he always talks about doing someday.

Should we or shouldn't we? That is the question.

If Lisa wears a pin refering to being the leader of the lime green people, we could all wear buttons that say "Take me to my leader!"

It was fun last time, but we didn't get much appreciation for it.

Vegas can be a lot of fun even if you're not into gambling. DH and I don't gamble but we enjoy hitting the shows and attractions whenever we get the chance. This weekend we took the kids to Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. They loved it.

But I hear Vegas isn't as cheap of a vacation as it used to be. There used to be awesome package deals that I believe are a lot harder to find now.

Nope, I'm always one off... that 40 second rule gets me every time.

I'm doing a search to see if they have banana pins anywhere. Coming up empty.

Yeah, I've heard that about Vegas. It used to be so cheap to eat at buffets and such but now buffets can run you $20+ a person at some places. And you certainly don't want to eat at the cheap buffets.

Show tickets are ridiculously priced also.

I am sure it is much like AC now. Shows here aren't as good, but they still have quite a price tag. And the buffet prices have gone up alot too.

So have you ever traveled out west? I haven't been back east since I was about 12 years old.

We always vacation in California so this trip in december will be a nice change of pace.
