We had a little crisis in our house the day after memorial day. All will be well, but it has been a tough couple of weeks. I missed you all and it is good to hear things are going well for all of you.

Watching the college World Series.

Great game being played now in the 10th inning - tied.

Arizona State and UC Urvine 7-7 the Anteaters and the Devils.

Watching this game, too. Carolina beat Louisville earlier today to stay alive.... but have to beat Rice twice to make it to the final 2.

I have to admit that last year was the first time I followed it all the way through (and a heartbreaking end... you know, that "first of the losers" thing). This year I've been watching since the regionals. The odds are against the Heels now, but anything can happen in baseball!

I have to admit that last year was the first time I followed it all the way through (and a heartbreaking end... you know, that "first of the losers" thing). This year I've been watching since the regionals. The odds are against the Heels now, but anything can happen in baseball!

And we, of course, have to be cheering on the Beavers!

FYI, if any of you have been following national news about the missing pregnant woman in Ohio, that is happening in our community. The alleged father is one of our assistant middle school football coaches. Sounds like a big MESS, and a terrible tragedy until she is found safe.

What a disaster! That is horrible. This afternoon I was in the grocery store and some girl (about 17) started howling and crying. (She had just hung up her cell phone) Someone asked her what was wrong and she started screaming "my dad stole my 3 year old brother from daycare." "He was abducted." She just kept crying until she left...I don't know if she went with someone or what. Jake was all concerned. He kept saying "Why would someone steal a little boy." I seriously hope everything works out for that woman in Ohio and for the little boy.

Oregon State is Playing UC Irvine. I don't know if it is the first time in history this has happened, but on the field is a team with jerseys that read "Eaters", and the other team's jerseys read "Beavers".

Oregon State is winning right now (6-1), so I guess you could say in a twist of fate that the Beavers are giving the Eaters a licking.

I also have an appt this afternoon to file for legal custody of our DGS 17. When we talked with the University of Montana they told us that even if he moves with us, he will not be a resident as far as tuition until he is 24. They said that where his legal guardian lives is his residence, so they contacted the Montana Board of Education and asked how they could help us. They said that if we have legal guardianship then his residency begins when Dennis' does. We have supported him for years and have taken him as a deduction on our taxes, his dad pays a whole $22 per week support which doesn't even cover the milk! We talked with both his parents and neither object (DD lives with us also)- he will be 18 in Sept anyway so . Ok, more info than you wanted, but I'm feeling chatty and also in need of some prayers that this whole process will go smoothly.

I am so glad to hear this! You know I have always worried about your grandson what would happen to him when you moved! Now I know that he will definitly be there!!
