Here is Sarah at the doctor's office, right after getting casted. She'll have it for 3 weeks. She hasn't noticed it much at all. It's especially cute to see her sucking the end of the thumb despite all that in the way.

Yes, that is me and DD is to the right of me in the pigtails. The camera the guy behind us is holding up covers all of her green. I believe Savannah is the Kaitlyn's right. That is Kim to the left of Mike...and the guy with the blue baseball hat and green lei and glasses is Steve. The girl in the 2 tone pink shirt right in front of the drum...I think that is Caroline's DD Amanda and the girl next to her in the white is Sarah. Isn't that Melissa on the far right above the DCL pool sign? Who is next to Caroline and Dina? The man with the boy on his shoulders? Is that Aaron? Brack is behind Caroline.

Notice the sound guy behind Angie & Dennis? Wonder if that is who told Rachel about all the DISers? He could read our shirts quite well.

Yeah, he told us today - no work and all play this summer. He feels he deserves the break. Of course he said this when his mom asked him to do something at home . . .

Today I was vacuuming - and saw something peeking out from under the bed . . .

It was evil Bobby's deflated feet!

Alex just told me about this today, because we finally put together Sophia's telescope that she got for Christmas. She has shown a HUGE interest in the planets and stars lately, so this was the right time to get this started.

Anyway, there is a GREAT free program available called Stellarium. Even if you don't have kids who are interested, if you are, it is a lot of fun and very interesting and the best part - FREE!

Mac, and even Windoze. Also a Linux version.

Oh, and by the way, it seems that Kristina and Bobby were together... perhaps at the bar... when the first photo was shot. Circumstantial evidence, I suppose.

Have to mention before I head off to bed that I got contacted by a recruiter trying to fill a job. It was an HR job for a head of labor relations for a manufacturer with 12 plants.

The salary was really good, but would have to relocate to Omaha Neb

AND, the job required travel 50% of the time

One or the other would be bad enough, but both together is too much!

OK, further research shows that, time-wise, Bobby and Kristina are in the first photo, at 4:50:11. The butt shot (without Bobby and Kristina) is at 4:50:43.

We hooked up the computer to the new widescreen HD tv, and boy was it cool! You can actually use the software to run a telescope that takes commands from a computer (not ours) and to run a planetarium.

Have fun playing with it, it is really cool. You can do all kinds of what if's with it, and see the night sky in all kinds of different and neat ways.
