I am so dumb. I was supposed to take 800mg of Ibuprofen around 2 this afternoon and I can't remember now if I took it or not. :sad2: I have been taking so much stuff that my brain is kind of fuzzy. I don't want to take it again because 1600mg would be WAY too much but I am in a little more pain than I was so I don't know. I could take my Tylenol 3 here at 4:30 and instead of 1 pill I took 2 in hopes that will help. I guess I need to start writing down when I take stuff....

DH called and wanted me to order Applebees so he can pick it up on his way home with the kids. Something tells me we are going to eat a lot of take out this weekend since DH is the one that has to do almost all of the cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kids. It is really going to be hard for me to sit around trying to be mostly still when Aaron is having to take care of everything.

 Brandi! I have not seen you around for a while. How has work been going for you? How are the kids?

Well, I have to hand it to the May repo group. How did none of us ever think of bedazzling the spanx?!?!?!?!? :lmao: John is now taking orders....the King of Spanx! :lmao:

Speaking of Bedazzling. I had a girl come into class yesterday with a black long sleeve shirt with gems on the front! I asked her if she did that herself. She was very excited because she got the Bedazzler for Christmas!!!! It was cute because she was only 9....not so cute when you are 29!!!!

I have been brutally busy!!!! The kids are great. They miss Mommy and cry if I ever have to go some place at night.

Becka - Why is Aaron doing everything this weekend? I am catching up but I have not seen anything yet.

Hello? :rolleyes1

Do you guys realize I just found this thread in the middle of page 2!!! :faint:

I guess since everyone has booked the repos and those are active threads the lights are going to be turned out over here, huh?

Anyway just a quick update. I went to the doctor and she thinks it is very likely that I cracked a rib but since it did not puncture my lungs and since there is really nothing they can do she didn't see the need for an x-ray. She prescribed me lots of good pain meds (Tylenol 3 :faint: ), wants me to take off work tomorrow and rest all weekend. I was supposed to travel to KC but she quickly said no to that. I did actually sneeze this afternoon and I thought I might pass out from the pain....it was so, so, so bad. In fact it seems to have made my pain worse all the time now. :sad2: Oh well....

Hey V - I read your posts on the main board about the big envelopes of pictures and stuff you got from Flounders for Haley. With so much going on it never even occurred to me that we never got anything from them in the way of pictures or anything else. On our 4 night we got a nice little Poloraid of DD with Donald Duck and it is one of my favorite pictures of her from that trip. She spent almost 8 hours in Flounders so I find it a big hard to believe that with as many characters as Haley saw there that there were not any there when Allie was. It really makes me wonder because DD loves the characters and has never been afraid of any of them. :confused3

I also got nothing for Eliza. She was there 2 or more hours each day!!!!!

Becka - Why is Aaron doing everything this weekend? I am catching up but I have not seen anything yet.

I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia a little over a week ago and then on Wednesday night I cracked a rib from coughing so hard. Now I am trying to not move a lot and I am living on lots of pain killers. :sad2:

That is strange because when I asked about additional hours they acted like there was really not much availability. I didn't ask for any specific hours but they made it sound like I didn't have much of a shot of getting Allie in. Of course this was early in the week....maybe they had a lot of cancellations or maybe they really did not like DD. I am starting to wonder what exactly was going on there. DD is usually pretty adaptable to things and she certainly is no stranger to group care but after her first visit she screamed when you tried to drop her off. When we would pick her up she would always be sleeping and they told us she had a good time. :confused3

Don't feel bad..they called Eliza the Screamer!!!!

Since Alex had told me how moving it was, I decided to walk down to the Holocaust Museum, and see if I could get in (you normally need to make a reservation). I got in, and spent the next two hours there. As I said, I am normally quick in museums, but in this one, I read as much as I could. It was moving, fascinating, and emotional.

The entire time I was there, I do not think I heard ONE person speak as they moved from exhibit to exhibit. Even the young children there were quiet. Everyone (when they are old enough) should have to go through that museum to see what human beings are capable of doing to each other.

The saddest thing was seeing the pictures of all the little children, who had no idea what was going to happen to them. So many souls lost to atrocity . . .

I always say that everyone should go there once!!! It is amazing. I remember leaving there and we all had headaches from reading and the stress of how emotional it was.

I am all caught up!!!! I need to go and work on my agenda for the SS meeting!

When John was home right after my surgery he kept track of the time I took my pain meds because I kept forgetting, those things are strong. When he was in DC I had to write it on a notepad by the pill bottle so I remember the time I took it.

In the paper today a 72 year old man was arrested for selling the pain meds I am on (percacet-sp). I told John I didn't realize that medicine was so wanted. I know it is good, but I didn't know it was blackmarket drug!!

Someone on the repo thread went in hunt of a bear in a crockpot picture but this is the best he could do. :lmao:

I feel the same way Lisa.

This is family over here. Maybe in the next 12 months the other thread will grow on me, we'll see.

John and Kim, I thought I was crazy. I am just not feeling "it" over there. I guess I am just a homebody.

Hi all,
Just back from Elizabeth's orchestra concert... it was the Schuykill Valley area orchestra (kids from 10 middle schools in our area). Wow, was I impressed. They have only practiced together three times (last Saturday for six hours, and for 3 hours on Tue and Thu this week), and they sounded SO good. They played 10 pieces, too. The big finale was the Pirates theme; how perfect for me!

That sounds like a fun evening. I really hope that at least one of my kids is in band/orchestra as they get older so I can go to the concerts. :thumbsup2
