Has anyone else not started packing yet? We leave in the morning so I should really start soon!

I have to make a run to the store to buy supplies for the village school in Costa Maya. Have they asked for anything specific or are we just getting paper, notebooks, etc.?

I read they really, really enjoy getting glue sticks as they typically use chewed up gum to stick things. That's what someone recently mentioned in a trip report.

I don't think there are any specific requests. Someone mentioned that an earlier group got a really excited reaction from the kids for glue sticks, so a few of us added them to the stockpile. There's everything from a Spanish dictionary, to playground toys to paper and notebooks and pencils.

Hello everyone I am still alive and it is been a very interesting two weeks for me.... I was really sick when we came home from Thanksgiving week and went to the Dr the following Monday or Tues?? because of a rash on my side and well he told me SHINGLES!!!
So Shingles and pregnant what a great combo....I have not even packed yet but I am feeling better now and I am so glad that is better and I was thankful for the antiviral meds.. and that this happened 2weeks before the trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So tell me whats going on!!!
I know about Johns mom and my prayers go out to them!!!!

We've dropped our dog off at the sitters. Just ordered some pizza for dinner and will be heading to the airport in a couple of hours.

Yep it is nice to be feeling better and going to the Dr first thing REALLY was great because the Antiviral med prevented me from having a bad outbreak ,,,
It was only a small cluster and now you can't even tell... It is all gone... I stayed away from my work until Dr cleared me since I work with children with comprimised health!!!
I am SOOOO excited about going!!!

Hey Todd, I was wondering how to do that myself. I picked up my copy of DMC today. Do you need special software to rip it to your iPod?

Stopped at the liquor store and stocked up the rolling cooler. Now one load of laundry to do and finish up packing! Yippee!!

Allie is in bed and Nathan is getting ready to go to bed. Hopefully we can get all the last minute details taken care of in the next 90 minutes or so. I only have the kids stuffed animals/blankets to throw in the car in the morning.
