OK It is 45 degrees here. Not so bad except......

My office still doesn't have heat! It's not like I'm in a big office building and we can get radiant heat from other offices. NO! we are in a little building and have to heat the area all on our own.

Good news. The right repair man is finally here (we hope)

Bad news. He keeps going in and out and in and out the door to the outside right next to my desk. Brrrrrr.

Phoenix to Las Vegas is about 290 miles (300 km).

Is this correct? You Vegas people, have any of you driven from Vegas to Glendale, AZ oR Phoenix?


I can get cheaper flights to Vegas than AZ for the game.

I've driven to Phoenix once - not sure about the miles but I remember it being an 8-10 hour drive (depending on how much you stop and/or speed ).

Our flight leaves around 11pm tonight... I can't believe the day is finally here!!! I'm SOOOO excited and a bit nervous.

I almost chickened out and cancelled the parasailing last night. I was thinking about it and getting kind of scared. I didn't cancel though, I think I'd regret if I did but ugh, I just know I'm going to have a panic attack when I see how high they take us.

DS just came in and asked for candy for breakfast to "celebrate" it being vacation day.

I almost chickened out and cancelled the parasailing last night. I was thinking about it and getting kind of scared. I didn't cancel though, I think I'd regret if I did but ugh, I just know I'm going to have a panic attack when I see how high they take us.

Dody please don't cancel. It's supposed to be fun not scary.

My thrill seeker, roller coaster riding friend said it was downright boring.

I'll be there too. If you let other people go first you will see how they take it.

Maybe if you tell them you don't want to go high you don't have to.

That would be a great Idea - Flights to Vegas are always cheaper - and you could drive there ...I dont know how much cheaper it would be to make it worth the extra drive though ?

My BF is scared of heights and told me I will love it. She parasailed once and just told the guy not to take her as high as usual but she said the fear passes quickly.

I decided not to cancel but I am scared. Don't hold it against me if I look panicky in the boat.

Youngest DS started feeling bad Monday......was down for the count all day yesterday. This morning he got up and started jumping around that it was only 2 days 'til we leave!! Guess he's feeling better!

The teeny tiny screw in my eyeglasses popped out last night. So, another thing added to today's "to do" list.
