Hi all! Sorry for my histrionics earlier, I am just a big baby about savannah. We are on the bus to the airport with the morks. Savannah and aaron are on the back back row. Porterbob was our porter! Lisa, he said hi! I will try to gather myself for a much better post later, but thanks everyone!!! Need to get tissues again... The morks also said to say hi! Are they the nicest people or what! I thought I could start a thank you thought but I started balling again... More when I have had more sleep.

Kim

 Was definately a pleasure helping you folks out. Thanks again

Well here we are. Back home already. :guilty:

I was a little apprehensive at first but we made our 11am flight out of MCO with ease. :thumbsup2

Had a horrible flight up to Boston though. Had a screaming child (maybe 2 1/2 yrs old) in front of us who just wouldn't sit still. And a woman sitting behind us who thought everyone on the plane would enjoy her singing along to her iPod the whole flight. :furious: However our flight from BOS-BUF was very peaceful. A half-empty plane a separate row for each of us. :goodvibes

It was great meeting everyone. Great job on all the DIS goodies and stocking stuffers people. Zach looked forward each night to coming back to the room to see if anything new was left. The DW only wished she would've brought some goodies along too. Oh well, maybe next time.

Lisa - Thanks for all your hard work in organizing the dinner and ruins plans.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's pics next.

She's in bed :cheer2: granted it is our bed but that was our choice she has a miniloft bed. I didn't want her to be disoriented and forget where she was. She complained that her stomache hurt and she felt upside down and and moving like she was still on the ship. I should have thought to give her bonine jr earlier but she appeared to adjust fine this morning.

What a super cruise!! We had sooooo much fun and so many magical moments. This was our second Disney cruise and I was expecting something of a let down but that sure didn't happen. In addition to the whole wonderful cruise in general, we got a room upgrade, we were the magical family of the pirate beach patrol, and on Friday night a big bag of goodies from the club appeared; we had no idea what it was and almost turned it into the lost and found until we found the card from the kids club and apparently we were there magical family of the week? WOW WOW WOW. I think I only got to meet about half the DIS'ers group but everyone was great and it was so nice to have instant friends on board.

We are home now, we had a nice lunch in the airport with PJ and Kim and a very smooth flight home. Screaming baby and incredibly loud snoring man notwithstanding. The baby made me laugh (I had earplugs fortunately). He was in a a contest of wills with his father who thought he should go to sleep and if he just didn't give the child any food or entertainment, he would eventually shut up and sleep. Baby won. Anyway, the baby, who was really about 18 months old, puked over his mom's shoulder in the aisle of row 1 as they were standing up to leave. She just wiped her shoulder and kept on walking, leaving the rest of the passengers to try to avoid stepping in it or wheeling our luggage in it. I told the flight attendant there was puke in the aisle and she said yes, that kid just threw up there. Apparently nothing could be done to clean it or cover it up. So charming!

Stockings? We've got lots' of nice cards, a key chain, a Christmas ball, pirate booty, but I didn't see a stocking.
It started out cloudy and yucky for our last day at Castaway Cay, but tured out to be a good day! I can't belive that we have to go home tomorrow!
Thanks everyone for the little gifts. The boys loved it. Sorry I didn't meet anyone!
Holly

No stocking here either but lots of goodies, thank you all for the special treats
!! The Howard family gave welcome aboard and goodbye gifts, too funny and I can't believe you all made the rounds of all the rooms twice! I was lucky and just had to deliver a big box of bubbles to Brenda to hand out to everyone. Thanks Brenda!

Glad you made it home okay. We are back in Portland, but are staying at a hotel by the airport. We will go home tomorrow. Aaron's other grandma pick him up and will bring him back to the airport tomorrow. Our power was out for about 3 hours because of the windstorm, according to DGS, but now there is a transformer fire that has cut power to much of the area. We don't know if our house is affected. Some more transformers are blowing up and they can't get close enought to fight the fire yet! DGS will be at work until 10 pm, so we won't know about our house until later on.

Glad all of you got together for lunch. It was hard leaving PJ there alone. (sniff). We will post more later. We are close to home and are safe and sound. We love you all. Thanks for helping us to have so much fun. Thanks to all of you for everything. We love the Empress too. AND, hug that Banana.

Den n Ang n Aaron

Oh, Hi Savannah, from Aaron. He was sure sad about coming home.

Oh....Our flight home was great. Smooth all the way. The movie was "Scrooged", o some of you probably saw it too. Our iPod headsets worked. Saved a couple of bucks. Why, that iPod is paying for itself. ;)

Thanks everyone for all the great goodies!!!! I hope you all had a great cruise. Sorry we did not hooked up with all of you!!!! :thumbsup2
Mark, I kept meaning to leave a message on your stateroom phone and try to hook up with you for a few minutes. But... time went by, we got busy. Maybe next trip - Dec 8, 2007! Several of us are rebooked, join us!

Jordan had left a message on my phone wishing us a great trip! He left it after I had turned off my cell phone, but it was great to hear his voice when we got off the ship! THANKS, JORDAN! You were missed! Dec 8, 2007 be there!

I think we are still on East Coast time. We woke up a little after 4 am. I decided to just stay up since I return to reality tomorrow and have to start getting up at 5 again - that thing called work. We should be ready for bed early tonight.

Thank you everyone for making this trip so special for us, and for Aaron. I think the tears would have been more for me if we did not have another booked with several in this group. You truly are special people. We also plan to check in with all whose addresses we have when we start our retirement travels across this country. The magic does not have to end for us. :grouphug:

I guess everyone is unpacking this morning - or Christmas shopping - or playing at that World. Christmas......I must get started on that now. Wow! One week! YIKES! I'll assign the cards to DrHug. :thumbsup2

Off to shower, then make the short trip home and see if we have any power yet. DrHug told you that several power transfer stations were on fire here last night. Whoa! What a mess right after that huge windstorm that had the power out also. Guess those PGE workers will have lots of extra Christmas money this year with all the overtime in the past week. They are probably getting very tired by now.

:sad1: :worried: We ask you all to say some prayers for Aaron today as he flies home to Phoenix by himself.

Well, after getting off of the ship by about 7:45am, we easily found our luggage and headed to wait for the car. The driver was early and were were at the Airport by about 9:30am. As we were waiting we saw lots of other cruisers and even a few from were on our flight back to Buffalo. The flight was gone by 12:30 pm and w had a great flight and would fly with Airtran again in a second! We got back to Kitchener at 5:50pm and the inlaws were over at 6pm with hot lasagna! I'm doing some laundry today and just going to repack a lot of it since we have a nother Holland America cruise with the whole family for my in-laws 35th anniversary in March-no use putting everything away. We all had a wonderful time. My son Tyler (6) made a new best friend in the club. What's the chance he's a Dissers son???? We saw him in Shutters with his mom once and he said that Tyler has his new best friend too. It was very cute! So I hope everyone had a wonderful time-we sure did! Take Care and if you are goin next year to St Thomas/St. MArtin on December 8th, let me know!
Holly

After two flight delays, I arrived home at 1:30 am last night, oy!

Thank you all for making my solo cruise a wonderful experience! I meet so many wonderful people and I am really sad not to be sailing next december. will be unpacking and and washing laundry today and back to the grind tomorrow. I hope everyone had a safe trip home or is having a blast at WDW.

Hi all! We were able to get on an earlier flight YEAH! Pj my only hesitation leaving early was not being able to check out the Disney store to see whether they had those cool earrings you were wearing. Would you mind if I copied you?[/SIZE].

Carla, please join the cute earring club, lol!
