I know how you feel. I felt the same way at the office today. Too much work, too little time, and a boss that expects it all to be done and stay perfect while I am gone (Is it an Ohio thing?). I spent one of those mornings wondering how I could have spent the last 30 years (yes it will be 30 years for me with the same company on pirate night no less) somewhere and suddenly become so disenchanted and unhappy. You guys don't want to hear anymore.

Anyway, after a rant with DW while on lunch to get it out of my system, I felt much better.

I have to tell you that you guys help too. It is good to be able to laugh and chat with some friends to escape everyday nonesense that can become your worklife.

Oh, and I got another one of those looks again today that just topped it off . . . another one of those "Another Disney Cruise" looks - you KWIM . . .

I guess (appologies to Todd and Dody) if I were going to Vegas and gambling and wenching and drinking that is perfectly acceptable, but a grown man on another Disney Cruise - with my FAMILY?

I must be some kind of weirdo . . .

They are just jealous. And you know, the grass always looks greener when they do not get early morning wake up calls to solve problems.

If I were you and had to lay off that many people, I'd be disenchanted to. Next time the eye rollers give you grieft, suggest maybe they could take on that responsibility.

I bought the antibacterial wipes and got some AB gels and lotions at BBW (yes, I'm a tad OCD-ish) but also wanted to spray some lysol in the room when we arrive just in case a previous guest may have had a cold or something. I also ALWAYS spray down comforters in hotels, etc... those don't get washed regularly like sheets do. Eww.

Ahh so your to blame for those smells..... The smell of Lysol or any heavy sprays actually gives me a headache....

Speaking of quiet ones. I have a little 6 year old boy who never says anything in my sunday school class. He comes from a broken home and they are really struggling financially. Anyway, i asked them all what they want for christmas. He said Dynamite. Should I be concerned?

DD has officially taken over the camera. I am seeing spots before my eyes. She took a photography class at the beginning of the school year.

Is there a way to display what you are going to shoot on the monitor, or just through the viewfinder? When I told her you have to look through the viewfinder she said, "Ewww, why did you get a camera like that?!?!"

It's like a really cool dollar store for teens but instead of a dollar..everything is below $5.

They have lots of things that could be stocking stuffers, b-day gifts, gag gifts, etc.....

Jewelry, bath stuff, makeup stuff, sports stuff, candy stuff, stuff stuff

Speaking of quiet ones. I have a little 6 year old boy who never says anything in my sunday school class. He comes from a broken home and they are really struggling financially. Anyway, i asked them all what they want for christmas. He said Dynamite. Should I be concerned?

Maybe it is a type of toy? Anyone with boys care to answer?

Not sure if any of your schools use the SCRIP program...ours does....this is really awesome...too bad it was posted on the main boards today.

If anyone uses the SCRIP program for fund raising I just found out something very exciting. They are offering Disney gift cards that come in $25, $100 and $1000 increments with a 7% return. They can be used to pay on your cruise, as shipboard credit and for most things Disney. I emailed Merrie at Dreams Unlimited and she told me it can be used through them also. Our band boosters use this program and I cannot tell you how much this is going to help me because my 7% will go towards our sons band fees. Let's see, I need to buy about $4500 worth (before 12/1/07 cruise) giving me $315 towards his fees!! Yippee!

That sounds cool Karen. We don't have it. Maybe I can buy some from you??
