Chicken Corn Pie .... pumpkin pie.....with or without a crust?!!!

Ok, Becka....what is the percentage of posts in this thread that have the word "crust" in it? "Pricing"? "streaking"? "bathroom bat"?

We need statistics! :thumbsup2

How does anyone just HAPPEN TO NOTICE a mathematical equaltion of percentages???!!!!!

 :sad2:

Because she's been tracking it since the beginning....Personally, I am waiting until we hit 12%; that would be the milestone. Not sure why, but I guess its as arbitrary as 10%.

Becka, go over to the OTHER thread and let them know we are at 10%, see what they say.... :rolleyes1

Nahhhh . . .

I wasn't that big on the crust debate. That was a PA dutch thing.

(but I still want to know how you double post the same post- we could DOUBLE our posts in no time!)

John1

Ahhh...John..

PA Dutch are basically the Amish folk and, as I understand it, Ohio is the largest population of "PA Dutch", more than PA itself.

Being from Ohio, you have a say....

What say ye? Be it Crust or no crust? :confused3

Do prescription and non-prescription medications have to be packaged in a quart-size clear plastic, zip-top bag?

No. Medications (prescription medicines and over-the-counter medicinal products, i.e. Tylenol®, Pepto-Bismol®, ointments, etc.) that come in liquid, gel, and/or aerosol form in containers greater than 3 ounce must be declared at the screening checkpoint, but do not have to be packaged in a quart-size, clear plastic, zip-top bag. If the medications are in containers of 3 ounces or less, they may also be included in the quart-size zip-top bag with other items – as long as it all comfortably fits

 I suppose I'll put all our meds in a ziploc anyway. It can't hurt. I'm sure confused though. All my meds are in pill form except my rosacea medication but I plan to pack that in a check in bag.

When I flew in October I had all my medications in one of those daily pill containers, well actually it was a weekly one. I have quite a few pills that I take each day, anyway, the container was in a ziplock bag, becasue I am always afraid of it opening and things going everywhere, anyway, I had this in my purse. I did not take it out to show it to TSA, just put it on the belt, no problems, no one stopped me all was fine. i did this at three airports, one was Atlanta.
I have never taken my medicine in the original containers and i have never had any problems.

Lisa - not only do I understand your obsession with neat closets - I live it daily.

Absolutely no wire hangers ....all must be plastic....each closet has its own color. Every clothes (short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirt, etc) has its own section. Each section is organized by color and the colors must blend....pink, then red then darker red...into a brown...into a black...into a grey...into a blue...etc. You cannot put red next to yellow...it must be pleasing to the eye!!

Ok, Rainman...
ahhh... I hang my clothes in the closet, yes in the closet. On the red hangers, only sweaters on the red hangers. The shirts go on the blue hangers, yes, blue but only on Tuesdays, definitely not on Mondays. I hang the pants on green hangers but only on Thursdays, not on Mondays, only sweaters on red hangers on Mondays...I'm an excellent organizer....hey, look a chicken! :lmao:

SEALED WITH A KISS

At the conclusion of their 20-minute "double ring" Scientology ceremony, the bride and groom shared a sweet kiss at the altar. Cruise and Holmes "looked at each other for a long moment, as if letting the importance of that moment sink in," designer Giorgio Armani tells PEOPLE.

right....someone in hollywood understands the importance of Marriage!

Yeah, they were both thinking....."Did I sign the Prenup?" :scratchin

I too, am like Amy....if the clothes get in the closet it's a miracle. Actually they get in there 3 times a year....when we are throwing a party.

Underwire bras set off metal detectors? WHAT? Isn't there a metal detector you walk through at the port? Never had a problem. And I sure hope there is no hold up this year. What do they do for that?

John wants to go to Disney on Friday...he thinks everyone will be shopping....and the park will be empty. Not so sure about that.

I will be on a cooking marathon tonight. I plan on getting everything ready and prepared to just pop in the oven tomorrow. Yippee!!! We are really getting close to cruise time!!

Ok, a question for the women... do underwire bras set off the metal detectors? :confused3 I don't recall it ever being a problem for me in the past and that's the kind I wear but I just read this on the TSA site...

Avoid wearing clothing, jewelry or other accessories that contain metal when traveling through the security checkpoints:

Heavy jewelry (including pins, necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches, earrings, body piercings, cuff links, lanyards or bolo ties)
Clothing with metal buttons, snaps or studs
Metal hair barrettes or other hair decoration
Belt buckles
Under-wire bras
Hidden items such as body piercings may result in your being directed to additional screening for a pat-down inspection. If selected for additional screening, you may ask to remove your body piercing in private as an alternative to the pat-down search.
Take metal items such as keys, loose change, mobile phones, pagers, and personal data assistants (PDAs) out of your pockets.
Place heavy jewelry and other metal items in your carry-on baggage or in plastic bags if they are offered, until you clear security.
Pack all your coats and jackets in your baggage when possible. All coats and jackets must go through the X-ray machine for inspection. These include, but are not limited to, trench coats, heavy winter coats, suit jackets, sport coats and blazers. If you choose to wear an outer coat or jacket to the checkpoint, you will need to either place it in your carry-on or put it in the bin that is provided for you.

I don't think there is anything to be worried about with clothing. I have gone through many times with metal on (belt buckle, etc) and they just look at you wave the little wand over and your done. I wear my wedding ring thru and it never sets it off. Obvious things like keys and wallets etc need to go in the buckets but there isn't much in everyday clothing that will set off a detector. Unless you've got a small anvil strapped to your back, you should be fine.

Just wear clean underwear...they may require a full body search. Ok, just kidding....but, seriously, I had a firend who went thru security at Washingon Reagan about 2 years ago and he was not only pulled away for additional screening, they took him to the back room and made him remove clothing. He was NOT HAPPY. :furious:

Oh, you're one of those DISNEY people, you'll need to come with me....

I not taking any chances on the pill thing since we are leaving the "country" and customs and TSA are kinda two different entities though.....

Or unless you have a krispie treat wrapper in your pocket... DD13 got pulled aside for additional "wanding" and it was the snack wrap stuffed in pocket that set it off.

My artificial hip sets it off .... big time. I will be searched for the rest of my life even though I tell them what it is ahead of time.

Good Morning Everyone!

It doesn't look like you guys were too chatty last night so I am off to catch up. :)

Oh yeah....no chapstick either. I got busted in security with chapstick. Supposedly there is some kind of metal foil in a chapstick roll. Didn't know. :confused3

When I flew to Minnesota there were women who had their make-up in the ziplock bags and were fine. In fact, the lady in front of me had lipstick in her purse and they made her put it in a ziplock bag.

Yes because lipstick in a ziplock bag is FAR safer than lipstick just out in the open in someone's purse. I am all for tougher security at airports but really how does this make anyone safer? :sad2:
