Talk about stupid scheduling........the Goofy PJ party is now on Formal night. IDK many kids who would go to that instead of the GMs. Also, most families have their pictures taken that night & the kids are all dressed up. I wont let the kids go run around in their dressy clothes.

Last night at the GS dinner/ceremony, some of the girls brought out flowers to thank the new leaders for their time, etc. I commented to Sarah how for the 6 years that I did it, never once did I get a thank you from anyone (I guess a bit of jealousy crept in). Then the girls brought out more flowers and thanked me for last year.

Well, Sarah went through her clothes today and found 2 pairs of shorts and 2 capris that fit. We went to the store and managed to find another pair of shorts. She does have some gym shorts too. her cousin just told me she brought down a couple of pairs so we will have to see how they are. We did get her a nice pair of black pants as well as a skirt and top for her pirate outfit. Amanda was upset when we got home because I didn't get anything for her, but I did for Dina.

DH decided to go to the furniture store up the road to look for an area rug. They are a great store, but they are going out of business since the original owners are retiring. We tried to call before he left to see how late they were open, but were on hold to long for him to wait, so he went anyway. He called at 7:45 to say they closed at 7....

So I told DH to go to the stores, since he is near the mall, and find some clothes for the cruise. He wanted to know what he would need. I think the only one who will be dressed will be Amanda. Dina has plenty of clothes, but she will be part of the streaking club.

I think we all will go to the mall tomorrow. DH still wants to go to the furniture store, and we really need to get moving here. I have exactly 14 days to be packed and ready!

I'm here. I escaped from the laundry pile. (Oh, it's still waiting for me!)
Realized today that Hannah's velvet Christmas dress does not fit... oops. She was going to wear it for her piano recital, and also during the cruise. Hannah's pretty tiny, and most of last winter's stuff still fits, so I assumed that it still fit.
