Hello All,

I haven't posted here before. My family and I (will be on the Dec.09 sailing, and though I had every intention of laying low and keeping my head in the sand, I just had to post my good news to you all!

On Jan 31, 2006 we booked this cruise as Cat. 12 GTY for $2976.

Today, the price is: $2149.32.

I called DCL and got a price adjustment of $797 tonight! Can you believe that? So, if you haven't checked the pricing lately, you may want to take a peek...............

WELCOME! This thread didn't scare you did it? :goodvibes

Congrats on the price decrease!!

Everyone has been chatty today! I love it! This group is way too much fun! :thumbsup2

Nathan and I had our lunch date and we had a great time. I am really glad I took him out and I hope he will start feeling a little better. I sometimes forget that each of my kids really needs some time alone having fun with just one of us occasionally. He was having a really good morning at school so that was great news. I let him pick the place and he of course picked McDonald’s and he was so thrilled to hear that we could eat inside. He loves to eat inside fast food restaurants but 98% of the time we just do drive thru so this was a treat. He picked us a nice table by the window (Mom, you can see the McDonalds’ sign from in here. ;) ). We enjoyed out lunches and then we stopped to get him a chocolate milkshake at the frozen custard place. He only finished about a ¼ of it but we were able to put the rest in the daycare’s freezer so we can take it home this evening. I think it put us both in a better mood. Nathan drives me crazy but he really is a great, fun-loving kid.

Every year at Thanksgiving my MIL would make cranberry chutney/relish/sauce and serve it in special individual dishes at dinner. Nobody touched it. Every year she wrapped it in saran wrap and put it back out at Christmas. Guess what. Nobody touched it then either.

I think she just liked using the individual side dishes.

Come to think of it, for all I know she saved it and used it again the next year.

Kinda like fruit cake huh? :rotfl:

My DH goes crazy with lights. He puts about 1500 lights on our tree. He puts about 3000 or more lights outside!!! That is over 45 strings of lights! He goes crazy...but our house always looks awesome!

I think Caroline said that if there are 8 or more room available that is the max that will show. In order to really tell you have to enter all the room numbers individually, see which ones are open and then add them up. It may be too much math for you Angie... ;)

::yes:: I will wait until after the weekend to check them all again. Giving some time with all the downgrades.

Did anyone else notice? I think the DIS clock is fixed! :yay:

I think you're right! :dance3:

Maybe Ty did it! Yeah, that was the big surprise! :rotfl:

I have such horrible sinus pressure I could cry. I was fine all day. I went shopping with Eliza this afternoon (Jake was with Gram and his cousins.) Anyway when we were going up the mountian on our way home my sinuses in my cheeks started to pop. They only hurt a bit when I am sitting up (just pressure.) When I lay down or bend over I have serious pain.

Briton hurt after lighting firecracker in buttocks

LONDON - A 22-year-old man suffered internal injuries after lighting a small firecracker he had inserted into his buttocks, paramedics said Thursday.

The incident took place Sunday, when Britain celebrated Bonfire Night, traditionally marked with fireworks to celebrate the Guy Fawkes’ gunpowder plot to blow up Parliament in the 17th century.

The man suffered burns and other unspecified internal injuries in the incident in Sunderland, 275 miles north of London.

Katherine Shenton, a spokeswoman for the North East Ambulance Service, said a caller had phoned in that the victim was bleeding after the firecracker exploded.

Several of the man’s friends recorded the incident on a mobile phone. The blurry images show a man bent over with his pants down and a white flash as the firecracker explodes.

The Times newspaper reported the man is a soldier who recently returned from Iraq.

:scared: I can't even comment on that. :sad2:

My friend's nephew was burned badly earlier this year by fireworks. He had them in his pocket, but I can't remember how they were set off. I need to call her tomorrow to see how he is doing. I know he was burned very badly, but it was healing. Someone threw him into the shower and saved his life!
