OK, I am off to take DS to the doctor's office. We went to urgent care but the pediatrician has office hours 2-5 on Sunday so instead of having us wait 1 1/2 hours to be seen there, they called & made an appointment & sent DS home to rest. Sounds like an URI. Hopefully it will be easy to fix. Later!

It's kinda cool now Caroline. I have the keyboard and a wireless mouse, so it is just like a desktop. Ta Da !

DH had bought a laptop for his brother in Egypt, so we had it here for a few months before he took it over to him. Anyhow, DH bought a wireless mouse, but DD liked to play with it and it was MIA alot!

John, LONG story with her in previous episodes. It was great how they handled this because prior to this season she was not a very sympathetic character. Ty did not want to be on New Caprica at all. She made him go. She was a boozing, sleeping around kind gal who was forever getting him into bad situations and that's being nice about it. They did a fantastic job this season because if you told me that I would feel bad that she was dead I would never have believed you.

A boozing, sleeping around kind of gal.... John just like home, hope you don't snuff me out!!

Is that the site that sells for like 10 cents a song? I have heard it is hosted in Russia, and the Music industry is trying to shut it down for piracy .

Yes they are from Russia and it can not be shutdown. It appears that they are not doing anything illegal there.

The other good thing is that the songs they have to download are not encrypted with a digital signature.

The kids were an absolute nightmare so they ate some cereal about 5:30 and went to bed right after. I was in the middle of dinner but they just could not wait so after they went to bed DH and I had chipotle marinated chicken cooked outside on the grill, skillet potatoes and a big salad for dinner. It was really, really good and it was nice to eat without kids clammoring all over.

After dinner I worked out and now I am waiting for Amazing Race to start. Football ran way late so it won't be on for another 30-40 minutes. After that I will watch DH (or DHW for those of you who are acronym impaired... ).

Oh my gosh, won't they be up all night, mine would....

Yes you were lucky! We didn't get any of that stuff. No sugar cereals. No Hostess goodies. Dry milk & mashed potatoes out of a box. Insert puking smilie here.

We did the powdered milk thing for awhile. YUCK!

Hi there everyone. Just dropping in to say hello! I had another busy week, with late shifts. (Heavy SIgh!) And now I am behind again! Yikes!!!


Hey Brack! Are you bringing all of that music along for the cruise? I can't get my Pocket Tunes to work on my cell phone. RATS!!! Maybe by cruise time I can get it straightened out. The Ipod thing is starting to look real good. DGS says that the Ipod can store all of my 220 some odd CD's. WOW!

I am being tempted more and more to get an iPod but most of music is on my laptop anyway. I am bringing it.

I broke the little toe on my right foot tripping over the kids toy lawn mower. It really hurts....

I broke mine years ago when Alex was a baby. I was rushing to get him, he was crying in his swing, and I caught my little tow onj the couch leg. needless to say my toe was going in the wrong direction after that. Hurt like *^**&*&. Tape it up is all they can do, and give you some great pain pills. It still bothers me when it rains, and some shoes I can't wear because that stupid toe swells up!

Okay ...Wow ..over 40 pages ...well if anyone has a recap that would be great ..cant do 40 something pages ...anyway ..

Just got back from Big Bear Lake, CA went up there for the weekend and got a cabin , went fishing , relaxed , drank ..lol bummer for DS 14 , he couldnt go cause he had a band thing and he lost his 30 GB Video ipod ..errrr oh well ... guess he will Ipod less for awhile ...I cant't stand when its not a big deal to him . Well let him buy the next one and we will see how much it is a big deal when it is his money ...LOL

Anyway ***UPDATE*** the Jeeps are 50.00 dollars for the day and this includes insurance and everything but gas . Will have the exact details to pay ahead of time more then likely on Friday of this coming week ..

It has been a great weekend. The camp we are staying at is really nice and restful.

Tonight was a rally at the church and I was the speaker. The meeting went well.

Tomorrow we go back home to Baltimore. It's about 6 hours.

As those of us in Canada can download, but not upload (craziness, I know,) Brack have they not been able to take CC in the past or is this a current issue? I found some songs, that are on iTunes but only within full albums, but I could get as individual songs, I really want to purchase some, any ideas?

this one is for Becka -

so DH took the kids to the hardware store to buy paint for their rooms. We had exactly 1.5 hours before the soccer game. He returns to the house - with about 25 minutes to go before game time. It takes 20 minutes to drive there and the kids did not have any lunch or have their cleats and shin guards on. So everyone grabbed something to eat and jumped in the car and half got their shoes on but had to run onto the field with the shoes untied and mom chasing them - lol. This is our life on a regular basis.

Hubby just doesn't get the concept that once his errand gets done the kids and I still have several things to take care of like lunch, tooth brushing, bathroom etc.

I tend to survive better in chaos of my own doing
